Hi Simone!

Things are quiet here. There are no news... nothing happens.... It's so boring :). At work we don't have anything to do. It's that bad. We spent the whole day doing nothing or pretending we are doing something important. In fact, I have something important to do. I have to set my team member's objectives and evaluate them before the year ends... It's even more boring than doing nothing :).

We had our Christmas dinner last Friday. It was not as good as I expected. Still so I enjoyed it. It's quiet funny when you see your colleagues drunk :). But the place they chose was crap. It was a posh place with posh people everywhere, bad food and fair drink... Next year I hope the change the place.

I'm not in a Christmas mood either. I will have to work 24th and 31st December, drive to my parents-in-l​aw's or my parent's, have dinner and return next day as I will have to work again... What kind of Christmas are that? We should spend some days with family but, not this year... :(

I have a day off yesterday and get online for a while in the afternoon but didn't see you. It's a pity but I'll keep on trying :).

I would be pleased to  help you there as I don't have anything to do. Well I should set the annual objectives for my team members but that's so boring... Besides, I've been only here for 8 months and I don't even have any objectives set for me. How can I do it without knowing what I have to do??? This is a real mess... But that's my task for the rest of the week. I want to finish it soon.

The job issue is on hold by now. I guess they will resume it when Christmas ends. I still don't know the pay conditions either so there's a lot to think about before making any decission. I might try it but my manager told me I wouldn't get rich. Defitively I have to keep on playing Euromillion hahaha.

By the way, how was your Christmas party? Mine will be next Friday. I hope I can rest before the party as it's only Tuesday and feel so sleepy....

Well, I'm going to try to set those objectives I mentioned above... Poor work mates... They don't know what a hard boss is hahahha (devil laugh) :P :). I'll try to get online this evening at about 22:00h. I hope to see you there! ;). Take care!!

Things at work are getting worst not because we have plenty of work but the contrary: the teams are growing but there are no projects to asign to people so everybody's bored and asking for work to the team leaders... At least I have free time to reply your messages :P :). But I would feel even better if I could reply them from home :).

I'm glad you finally recover your voice. It couldn't last forever :). So you finally attended the christmas party, didn't you? I was sure you wouldn't miss it hahaha :). I won't miss mine either. It will be next Friday, the following week, not tomorrow. I'm looking foward to it :))).

Wow!! What a long vacation!! I wish I have some days off but unfortunatel​y as a boss I have to make some sacrifices and let the members of my team to take those Christmas days off... Actually my wife spent all her vacation days so it's useless to spend those days as we're not going anywhere :))). And are you really going to Florida??? Wow..... lucky you!!! Please take a lot of photos and find a computer with an internet connection to tell me what it looks like everything there :). Don't worry about the money; just play lottery!! :)

I need your advice Simone... It seems that my company is seeking people for a project in Germany, in Monchengladb​ag to be precise (30 km's of Dusseldorf; I hope I've written it ok). Do you know that place??? I want to gather more information before making a decision. I discussed about it with my wife and she's willing to leave her job and come with me. She would take for the baby till my contract finishes and we had to live with my pay only. So what I would like to know is wether I could afford a flat and how expensive life is there. Any information you provide will be welcome too :).

Well, I'll try to get online this evening in order for us to able to chat for a while but it will depend on my other duties at home :). I hope I can find some time. In the meantime let's keep on "working"​ or whatever we'

The weekend was good but my start into this week has not been so good. I was chewed out by several bosses for several reasons, not always fairly. So I got quite angry Monday and Tuesday. I'm fine today.

I'm sorry to hear you lost your voice. It's not strange since, as I've watched on TV, there has been a cold wave there that is affecting us right now. But nothing serious in Madrid: just one or two degrees below 0. You should stay at home instead of going to work ;). If not you won't be able to attend the Christmas party.... :P :). I'm sure you won't miss it even if you have a big cold, am I wrong?

Do you also have Lego Starwars game??? I've played almost 100% of it. But I left it to play "Starwa​rs: the force released"​... Wow! It's amazing!! But I'm a big fan of Starwars so... what else could I say? :).

Well Simone I'll stay at work till 21:00h today so you may find me here checking out my email. I have another go-live. I have to solve an incidence or whatever you call the problems in production environment :). Take care and keep me informed about your teeth. Hi Simone.

I finally could take some days off. In fact, today's my first day after holidays and I miss my bed, my ps2 and all the free time I had :). I attended a wedding last weekend too. It was a good weekend as I saw people I hadn't seen since my wedding and could spend more time with them. I enjoyed a lot :).
At work things are quiet by now. We have some junior programmers to teach and our bosses expect a lot of work in an early future; that's why they've contracted more people. But till then, I'm afraid I will very very bored.... At least I'll have time to send more posts :).
By the way, our Christmas party is next 12th December... I've just signed up for the list :). Why aren't you on Christmas mood?

If you had told me before I would have checked your profile to find the answer to my post hahaha :). Don't worry, that's something always happens to me :).

The bad days seem to be over. The project has been sucessfully deployed and next week I don't have anything interesting to do. Well, that's not bad for a change but I hope it doesn't last long. I'm taking 3 days off for all the overtime I've worked. I wish I could go somewhere as I'm going to get bored at home for sure.

Maybe I will take the advantage to find an academy to learn French during these days off. I studied it when I was younger and I would like to remember it. I daren't learn German; it's too difficult...​ :PP

At least I will be able to get online during those holidays so I'm sure I'll catch up with you soon ok??? I'm eating out with my wife's family now so I have to go. Please, take care of your teeth and yourself ok? ;) See you soon!

I wish I could get some days off now.... I really needed them. Do you know where am I writing this post from? I'm at work right now :(. I came here at 8AM and, if  I'm lucky and the go-live ends ok, I will be off at 3am. 19 hours in a row at work... I think that's not too fair... is it???
What about your toothache? Is everything ok now???
I'm not in Christmas mood either. In fact I'm in a bad mood now :). I just want everything to end up ok and go home and take some sleep... Don't you have TIBCO job offers for me??? :)

There's no many news here. At work, my team has been dismantled so I lead a 1 person team :)). It's a hard job.. but someone had to do it. The crisis is affecting us. There's not work for everybody so some of the people has been asigned to other teams where they had to replace other people who are attending a course (Siebel...).​ So I suddenly lost my team. Besides we have now a peak of work and I can't handle anything else...
But anyway, I trying to meet my friend, the one with the motorbike. It will be in 2 weekends as I have to attend a wedding next weekend... I'm a busy man... Too many enagagements​ hahaha.
