About Me:
Salut!
Few things about mahself:
I'm Lorry, 16, senior in high school.
I was born at 12:34 A.M. (U.S. Central Time).
I'm interested in majoring in either journalism or film studies/cinematography in college (university).
I also plan to pursue a military career.
I love cheesecake, danishes, TAMALES!, and stuffed pasta.
Heritage-wise, I'm Irish and Congolese and Norwegian and French and German and English.
I play field hockey....front-line offense, usually left wing.
I speak a good amount of French.
I do not indulge germophobes, neat freaks, or obsessive-compulsives.
I'd like to go to both Ireland and Italy some day.
My two favorite decades are the 1920s and the 1960s, from clothing to literature to music to social movements....I like everything about those two time periods (I mostly mean N.America here).
I make decent French toast and awesome crepes.
I read a lot. I write a lot. I listen to music a lot. I watch movies a lot. I drink soymilk....a lot.
I take a great interest in politics (more domestic than international though).
I'm good with conversing, honestly.

Requests:
I think it's safe to say I'm pretty open-minded and can get along with just about anyone, but I do find guys less annoying than girls, and I'm mostly interested in talking to people between fourteen and nineteen years of age. I prefer snail-mail over e-mail, most definitely.
Language Exchange Requests:
I'm a native English speaker, of course.
I'm not too bad at French; I'd like to improve a little, but at the same time, I can help novice speakers.
I'm slowly learning Welsh. Any help with that is greatly appreciated.

“If you are lonely when you're alone, you are in bad company”
- Jean-Paul Sartre
"Il est beaucoup plus facile pour un philosophe d'expliquer un nouveau concept à un autre philosophe qu'à un enfant. Pourquoi ? Parce que l'enfant pose les vraies questions." ("It is much easier for a philosopher to explain a new concept to another philosopher than to a child. Why? Because the child asks real questions")
- Sartre
"Il est malheureusement bien vrai que, sans le loisir et l'argent, l'amour ne peut être qu'une orgie de roturier ou l'accomplissement d'un devoir conjugal." ("Sadly, it is very true that, without pleasure and money, love would only be a common orgy or an understood conjugal obligation")
- Charles Baudelaire
"....But Mom, I like Gloria!"
