My name is Danielle.

I know quite a bit about many things. I read a lot. I could beat you at Rock Band any day. I write tons​ of snail-mail letters every month to places like Uzbekistan and Sri Lanka, and other places my mom thinks I made up. I studied language, and will continue to do so in a couple years, after my daughter Annika​ is not only born, but big. [She'll be here in late October.]

I'm American,​ but I also speak fluent German​ and can understand [but not fluently speak] Dutch.​ I studied/will​ study Germanic​ Linguistics​ [meaning I get to study all the Germanic languages- German, English, Swedish, Afrikaans, Dutch, the list goes on and on.] And I'm minoring in Russian!​ So, there's lots of language in my life.

I love snail mail.​ So, send me your address and I'll write you something. ;]

I'll talk to you about pretty much anything.​ I know a little bit of many languages, so you can try whatever language you speak with me. If I don't understand I'll tell you so. =)

If you're looking for someone you can talk to like a freind,​ straight from the get-go, that's me. As​ long as you don't get weird,​ I'd talk to you for the rest of your life. =) [But be warned; I'm honest.]

&& I'm not​ comfortable talking to people who aren't within a few years of my age [between​ 18 and 26 is fine].​ I don't talk to 34-year-olds​ in real life, I don't want to on the internet, either. Nothing personal.

I can speak German and English, understand [but barely speak] Dutch, and I'm concentratin​g most on learning Russian.
