No problem about your 'bad English', which isn't even so bad actually. Cannot find any mistakes. And it's also not a problem that you only know Mogwai. You're already one of the few that actually knows them. :D
What kind of bands are you more into? And what kind of art fascinates you?

No problem with reacting late. I just grab the last message I sent to you so I know what we were talking about and I'll be fine. :)
Quite recognizable with your foot by the way. Didn't go for surgery with it, but thanks to football, I've got very weak ankles as I sprained them quite an awful lot of times. Hardly ever really bad by the way *knocks on unpolished wood*, in the worst case, I had to walk with bandage for a couple of days. Anyway, I hope that you recover well. Then you can always go to Paris if you like in the end. What have you done to ruin your foot so awfully by the way?
I've been to the Hard rock Café here in Amsterdam once, but it didn't leave a heck of an impression to me at that time. But that could have been because I was there on a wednesday evening after visiting a cinema nearby. Maybe I should try it once more at least in the weekend, shouldn't I? :P
Just to name a couple of bands that I listen to, would be nice if you even know some of them; Flyleaf, 65 days of static, Mogwai, Oceansize, Stream of Passion, Theory of a Deadman, Finger Eleven, Danko Jones, The Mars Volta and Evans Blue.
Do you guys got the smoking ban in bars, discos and restaurants as well over there in Belgium? And are you a little well known in Liege? If so, what are some recommendable things to see?
Regards,
David

hi! ok then:) so your from the french speaking bit of belgium?? i'm ok, how are you?
Nope, I haven't been to Brussels and Liege. I don't know what it is with Brussels, but there's just something that doesn't give me the feeling that I should visit it one day. Liege isn't quite inviting as well as far as I've got an impression of it. I don't know it better or it is this typical gray industrial city. If I'd like to see such a city, I would rather want to go to northern England. Go on a road trip from Newcastle-upon-Tyne to Liverpool.
Quite surprising that Dublin is an expensive city, especially looking at the fact that Ireland was pretty poor only 20 years ago, before it received help of the European Union. It isn't a surprise on the other hand that London is an expensive city. Hopefully, I'll be able to find a relatively cheap hostel, the travel guides already give some good tips where you can eat relatively cheap (from 6 to 10 GB Pounds). The public transport will be expensive I guess, but as long as we don't do too much sightseeing to places where you would have to pay admission, we will be okay I think.
How did you get to your nickname by the way? Do you usually shop at the Aldi? ;) Or is it just a real name thing? :) And what are your favourite bands/artists?

Each language has it's part of importance indeed, but one language has just a little bigger part than the other. And Dutch unfortunately doesn't have such a big part in most of the international communities.
It sure is a bummer that you had to skip Paris to go for an operation last friday. For what kind of operation actually? And you're right on the big variety of architecture in Berlin. I cannot figure out a logical explanation for it either. Parts of Berlin were bombed during WW2, but I hardly believe that some buildings in a row were bombed and others were spared. Airplane bombs aren't that intelligent, especially not 65 years ago. But nevertheless, Berlin is a beautiful city, certainly to celebrate your birthday in it (congratulations, even though I'm 3 months late :P). If I got the opportunity to live there for (half a) year, I'd sure grab it.
