I'm glad I could introduce you to something you'd like, even on my first attempt!
I suppose I could be categorized as an audio snob to some extent, although I'd like to think I'm not very elitist about it. I do judge people from their tastes in music, though..
It's not something I'm particularly proud of, but it's almost always the case that with a pronounced preference in anything makes for a more interesting person.
That said, I appreciate music from a stupid wide range, though a lot of it shares traits across genres.
On another note, I see you play some MMOs! I've played a fair deal in the past. I had a bunch of fun in TERA, but it wore off eventually. I'm mostly just looking at upcoming ones, but the really interesting ones are far and few between. I seem to have taken refuge in single player games instead. :(

Oh, of course. I usually just pick out the most viewed track on YouTube, and I suppose the effect is somewhat the same (though what I like the most doesn't always match up with what's most popular).
While we are on the subject, have you heard any Cult of Luna? I'm gonna assume you have but on the off chance you haven't, you should check out "Waiting for You" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQY1DQhjM6M) whenever you have the chance~ After all, listing stuff isn't just for showing off, right? :D
There are always exceptions to the rule, but it's rather rare for me to listen to anything outside of the scope of an album. The few exceptions tend to be straight pop music, even!

Surely with those bands listed you're more into albums as a whole than just single songs?
