I live in Tucson, (hot) Arizona. My brother and I own a business here which deals in ancient art and artifacts, rare crystals and fossils. (I'm a silent partner, which means I don't do any work but get half the profits!) I have a lot of THINGS and I'm like one of those pesky packrats here which collect far to many things that are shiny. Being like a kid who's never grown up, I love to dig in the dirt--from gardening to digging archaeolgica​l sites (Again, playing in the dirt to find clues to the past (I've never had a job in my life, but as an archaeologis​t, I get paid to play and unleash (most) of my fantaciesl  I've got a lot of stories, and I love to make people laugh: at me, themselves, politics  whatever. Most everthing has a funny side. I'm hoping to find a handful of people who can make themselves sick with belly laughs. I'm also ready to be there if someone needs a bit of wisdom, a shoulder to cry on or just a bit of advice that I've gained from a liftime studying people and cultures, and countless visits to my psychologist​. I firmly believe in Karma (it really is one of the laws of the cosmos). And I try my hardest to do good, to help people, to be generous. Indeed it all comes back 7 times and honestly this has hapapened to me many times (but I don't want or need this to happen) Its that act of kindness that is my reward.  I love movies, and like food, if its really good; Eventually want to try out every ethnic food that exists; Maybe Curry (hot) is my favoriet;I think my favorite movie was Jurassic Park, but I love all good science fiction and actually a lot of others. I love the internet, esp. Youtube (INCREDIBLE!​).  Im 6'1" tall and weight about 175 pounds. Dont be scared off thinking Im a nerd or some kind of geek; or an academic... thats just my job; Its like play therapy for me, and since I don't take life very seriously, find great joy in exploring, discovery, keeping my digging crews happy even if its 112F and they wake up with a rattlesnake in their sleeping bag. Beware,  I have an over-develop​ed sense of humor, which gets me into trouble once in a while. Im single, for 12 years now, straight, and have three grown kids. Must have a sense of humor on any topic, and be able to dish it out as well as take it. Id like to share in learning each others cultures, interests, passions, and regions. I don't discuss religion though! Dont ask for money, porn or romance! Please, no folks from Africa with requests for money, visas, sex or salted pigs feet..  and you've got to be kidding with all those marriage proposals or the millions of dollars  my uncle in the Congo has willed to me..... "our lawyer has been searching for you for two years."​. Good Grief! I'm neither black, kill lions, or have Ebola, Dengi fever, Aids,Flesh-e​ating bacteria or blood paracites ..at least I don't think I do.

Playing flaminco guitar, going to live concerts, exploring for ancient ruins, travel, travel, travel....pl​ay in the dirt (digging up things), getting to know people on this pen pal site, or in person (Even little green people from another galexy...the​'re quite chaming once you get to know them, and , especially if they DON'T eat you) , writing books, photography,​ reading medical thrillers, reality based science fiction, Dining out, a warm fireplace and a good bottle of wine. Doberman Pinchers, and being an amateur brain surgeon. My favorite things to collect are original doccuments written before 1700, on parchment and anciet Greek and Roman Coins. I love a good FRIENDLY arguement. Its perfectly OK to disagree.

Everything from Heavy metal to Beatoven. Been to six Barry Manilow concerts, but love ZZ TOP, Metalica, David Lee Roth, Beach Boys, Peter Paul and Mary, Gregorian Chants, Stomp and Tuba Quartets playing music  written for Inca pan flutes.  Gosh, so many different kinds of music. (I ruined the hearing in my right ear by sitting front row right...unde​r the giant speakers, at a ZZ Tops concert.

I never watch a movie that makes me sad or cry, or feel bad. Reality? Nope!  There's enough  reality on the news, sadness in the world, in our White House, in other parts of life.

MASH, Discovery Channel, National Geographics,​  CSI, Dexter, CNN, Bones, Road Runner and Coyote cartoons, The Simpsons....​nothing too heavy, use TV shows to escape. Reality. Not a chance. Again, there's enough time for reality in other parts of my life, and too many horrors going on that  I can do very little about.  (I love finding real meteorites!)​
