About Me:
Hey, I'm Dan. I'm here to meet people and learn EVERYTHING about the world. Haha, well not everything, but I'd like to learn a lot more than what I've already learned from my life experiences. My motto is rather simple yet completely worth having. It's this: You only live once, so don't regret ANYTHING. So I'm here to meet people, make a few pen pals, and engage my life in exhibition.
Requests:
Anyone that is polite before anything else and can do more than communicate for more than 10 minutes before vanishing. A pen pal from Europe would be awesome, but if you're cool, I really don't care where you're from haha.
Interests, Hobbies, etc.:
It may be a bit cliche, but I'm a sports and music freak. I can hardly go a day without watching, playing, or thinking about watching/playing some sort of sport. Football (Americana) is my first love, but what I watch/ play usually depends on the season (i.e. football in the fall, basketball in the spring, soccer in the summer, etc.). With that said, I probably can't go more than a few hours without listening or playing music. I grew up playing piano, but have more recently switched my gears towards guitar. I play both acoustic and electric, but tend to gravitate towards my acoustic because it is much easier to sing to. I am hoping to add penpaling to this list of hobbies soon, but so far I've only got one, so I've got some work to do.
Favorite Music:
Classic Rock, Grunge, Garage Rock, and oh 90s! Some times I'll tune my iPod to the more urban genres, but rock is definitely my one and only love haha. Some of my favorites include:

life fine at the moment, got one more month of holidays til i start at uni next year. im so excited but so scared at the same time...
i kinda dont want the holiies to end, iv had to much fun going out with my mates, having nothing to do, just relaxing, but oh well life goes on...i'll get more holiies..

lol i've heard some interesting things about duquense's admissions guy...my friend was harassed by him, he was like, GO TO MY SCHOOL...haha :)

yes of course I know Jack White by the raconteurs,it's just I havent got to get to know much of the white stripes' music dont aks me why^^
yes sometimes there are just 1 or 2 people in the family who have a certain talent,it's the same with painting/drawing: my family might be good at playing any kind of music,but I'm like the only one who draws/paints.that's very funny,I think there's just one great-great-grand-uncle of mine who was an artist.So he's probably the person I got it all from^^ What do I draw?Well anything-the latest things I painted were my dreams to be honest.I thought it'd be a great idea to draw things or stories that appear in my dreams^^ and then usually many landscape pictures and portraits of my friends.I love trying out new things but if there's still the music I dont have much time to spend on drawing.sometimes you have to make decisions about what you like the most,but it's difficult just to stick on one passion if you know what I mean.
Yes my lyrics are mainly written in English,because I often think writing in German sounds a bit trashy,so it's better to write in English when not everybody understands it :P Yes we learn English in school starting in grade 5,but I wouldnt say my English is that good because of that what we've learned in school,it's rather that my family and I are in Ireland like 3 times a year and then I have the opportunity of talking to lots of people so writing in English also gets better I guess^^
