Hi, my name is Bjørn Tore. Don't worry about getting my name right by the way, its almost impossible to pronounce it anyway.

I tend to be more of a talker on the web than i real life, so if you become one of my Internet friends expect  a great deal of corresponden​ce from me. I know two languages quite well, English and my native Norwegian, and I'm trying to learn Japanese just for the challenge of it.

Japan interests me a lot. I can't explain why it came to it, but after watching a BBC documentary about Japanese popular culture called Japanaorama I got hooked. So I started learning the language in January of 2009, the text books I got was a Christmas present to myself. I'm hoping I get the opportunity to travel to Japan in the summer of 2010. I've chosen Kanazawa in Ishikawa prefecture as my main destination.​

I like to learn and I like to write. My main hobby is writing, at the moment I'm writing a Sci-fi novel called Commonwealth​ of Planets; Wish me luck on that, I'm going to need it. hehe

I'm in the beginning of learning Japanese, so I know basic words. Can read hiragana and katakana, if i have some time on it
