I ran a search on google today, "Americ​an friends in Italy",​ and found this site.  Perfect.  But I was hoping to find Americans living in Italy who would like to become, not just pen pals, but real life friends. 

I was born in Italy, but lived in the US my whole life, until now.  I moved to Italy earlier this year to join my Italian boyfriend whom I met last summer while here on vacation.  In general, I am happy and do not regret my decision to move.  But I miss my family and friends tremendously​ and have been hoping to find and make at least one quality friendship.  Unfortunatel​y, I see that I am the only one on this site living in my region.  But I still welcome friends of any color, age, creed or nation.  I ask only, that you be a good hearted non judgemental person, who is looking for quality friendship but nothing more.

A brief histroy on me: I spent ten years working in the accounting field.  Prior to that, I was an instrument technologist​ for a hospital operating room, and prior to that I served in the US Navy.

I will write more about me here, after I feel out this site and figure out what it is I'd like to share with this whole wide world!!!

I love snail mail.  There is nothing more fun than receiving a letter in the mail from a country in which you have never been. 

I love to travel, I love to know about people of all cultures, and I am really looking forward to meeting a few good people here.
