About Me:

Hi Everyone!

I am here for the same reason as many of you, that is I hope to meet new people and make friends from all over the world!  The world really is an amazing place, and I hope to learn more about the many cultures and places I would like to visit, meanwhile sharing life in North America with many of you.  At this point, I do unfortunately only speak English and French, however I hope to learn a few more languages as time goes on!

I am an easy-going, kind, respectful person with a lot of integrity, and who puts his utmost dedication into everything he does.  I am currently a mechanical engineering student whose primary ambitions are in the automotive/motorsports industry, however I am also interested in many other things (see below).  I do like to talk, so if you only write one line messages, we probably won't communicate for very long.  Other than that, why not say hello?

James

Requests:

I desperately need to continue to practice my French (as I moved out of a French region in Canada 2 years ago), so if you like to write in French I hope to hear from you.  I'd also love to someday learn Russian, so if you can help me out (and be patient :) ) please write.  This is certainly not a restriction though as I'd love to communicate with anyone worldwide!

Interests, Hobbies, etc.:

Family, engineering, racing, cars, traveling, sightseeing, learning, basketball, volleyball, skating, swimming, current affairs, politics, tennis, exercising, collecting (coins, die-cast cars, stamps, anything really haha), hiking, cycling, cooking, laughter, humour, ambition, community involvement, different cultures, international foods, helping others, meeting new people, random things, and above all else, enjoying life!

Favorite Music:

I listen to most anything, although I tend to listen more to certain types during different seasons.

Favorite TV Shows:

I don't have time to watch a great deal of TV, but when I do it is typically something on Speed Channel, Discovery Channel, TLC, a funny sitcom, or the news.

Favorite Books:

I will read most anything, although I prefer informational books, bibliographies, etc. over fiction.

Favorite Quotes:

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

I learned that it is the weak who are cruel, and that gentleness is to be expected only from the strong.

All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.

If we wait for the moment when everything, absolutely everything is ready, we shall never begin.

You will never find time for anything. If you want the time, you must make it.

Hey,

I think in this day and age no place is safe for people, but they can be protected. My country is beautiful and also has a few places that can be dangerous as in several other countries.

But it is true that Brazil is more dangerous than Canada. but Brazil is a country very nice to know and has many places that tourists know and love.

The Brazilian beaches are beautiful, the historical sites and also the downtown of capital cities you will quite like to know. Mainly cities like Sao Paulo, Recife and Rio de Janeiro, but there is also several other cities you would know love!

I have a friend who is going to Canada this week, she will spend the Christmas and New Year's party there as the family of her fiance, he is Canadian and he have been here in Brazil, Recife and he loved a lot!

But I think my friend will spend a great Christmas here in Canada, I hope that snow because I think it must be nice to spend Christmas in the snow.

Ray.
