About Me:
My name is Carla and I'm really original and imaginative: I love writing and doing pretty much anything else artistic. I want to learn as many new languages as I can, while at the same time learning about all the different cultures and histories of the world. I'm very out there and I'm definitely a little screwed up in the head. (Okay, a lot.) But I'm always looking for someone out there who will understand me, usually with a hopeful heart.
I'd like to think I'm attractive and I have a lot of interests. I'm very outspoken and I have an opinion about pretty much everything--and I'm not afraid to let you know it. I'm intelligent and I like to have intellectual conversations sometimes (although not so much about politics).
Lastly, two random facts.
1. I hate America.
2. I am a grammar freak. (Although I understand some of you are in the middle of learning English and I'll keep that in mind.) :D

Requests:
I'd like someone mature who can make me laugh and will have good conversations with me about things that matter. Intelligence is a major plus. I prefer older people, but I'm also aware that age is just a number. I'm particularly interested in Greek or British penpals, but I'm open to just about anyone who isn't in the United States.
Language Exchange Requests:
I'd like to be taught Italian, French, or Greek by native speakers of the language, and Latin--obviously, it being a dead language--by whomever knows it well.
Interests, Hobbies, etc.:
I love to write short stories, poems, songs, music, and anything else you could throw at me. I adore history, especially Ancient Greece and mythology, and I'm also very interested children and psychology. Reading is another hobby of mine, along with singing.

Just about anything, but particularly: Blink-182, Less Than Jake, OneRepublic, The Spill Canvas, among many others.

yeah, those darn spiders do get in the way, don't they? especially the radioactive ones that bite...
my weakest area is vocab too. i find grammar rather straightforward. and i just kinda make up words as i go along =)

I'm not that good at French, seeing as I'm still studying the language myself. You would be better off with native speakers, but if you ever want to learn Dutch (also known by some people as a disease of the throat, because it sounds so weird) I'm more than willing to help you.

Hello. Sorry for keeping You waiting so long. To excuse myself I may say I had used that time for my intelectualisation (meaning "stupification of a student forced to learn some vital books by hard, by someone who wrote them").

From last sunday I'm fascinated by Ludwig von Drake's Spectrum Song. I can hear it all the time in my head. At the beginning of one youtube film there was a warning taht it may cause epilepsy and not ot say false - hmm... , temporal insanity. right now I suppose I'm at te stage of the last one. (I really cannot remember the first one episode, but as far as I know it may be accompanied by retrograde amnesia).
I play Warhammer RPG (Never heard of it, I presume?), Call of Cthulhu, Cyberpunk and Dzikie Pola (known only in Poland as treating about XVI-XVIIc history of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.) You know any of these?

most of them were done in university as part of electives. they kinda become easier as you go along, particularly with romance languages that have a sort of pattern to them. that plus a keen spidey sense should get you where you wanna go.
