Woah, England for me is totally different, and I haven't only been in London, and I have many friends from there!
I feel the people are so kind and helpful, I love their history and that is full of historical places to see, and I don't think they are arrogant, I would be proud of my country if it was like the UK haha.
I love the "grey" you say, I like winter and really cold weather and rain and if you think they don't have respect, come here, you would want to suicide in just ONE day.
But from my side, I love how clean the country is, how everything works fine, the public transport, the government, how you can move from one point to another in a blink of an eye, how respectful and polite people are, how they take care of green areas, the landscapes are just amazing, the food and shortbreak biscuits, and I love the language. I've always loved it, it's like I feel it's where I belong to ♥ Like it happens to you with Turkey :)

I've been in London, Oxford, Birmingham and then visiting some other places, but didn't stay at them.
Well, we feel the same! You with the UK and I with Argentina, it doesn't feel like home at all. Why don't you like it? Where would you like to go?

I can not comprehend how someone could not love the UK. Haha I don't like my country and I really want to move to the UK as soon as I can. The times I've been there it felt like home to me, so yeah, I love it.

I answer here your question. I was with that flag, that was actually a towel, and it's because I love the UK.
