Hello! I am Ed from France, I will now be living in Glasgow from november after two months in a small Island in the Inner Hebrides : Iona! I was living in Scotland for two years like a year ago but I have been away in Spain and recently China for some time. It's good to be back! I just love it here!

I work in the hotel industry, and I am planing a trip around latin america- From Mexico to Patagonia at the end of 2009. I just love moving and meeting new people!

I would like to find a or some good friends in south america for when I will go, and of course people fron the Uk and particularly​ Scotland would be great!

Just it's better if you speak at least English or Spanish or French fluently.

I love travelling, living abroad, meeting new people! I love playing my Irish wistle and recorders,  I love outdoors, wild camping, trekking ( walked from Rome to Assisi in Italy , Some mountains in Peru..lots of places in Scotland, and Some of the Santiago way in Spain)

I like parties and going out for a couple of pints with my friends, I usually listen to a lot of Folk music as well. ( to be honest.. I'm obsessed with folk music!)

The bothy band, Alastair White, Lúnasa,Flook​, Carlos Nunez, Gordon Duncan, and anykind of fiddle, bagpipe, flute, bodhrán stuff. I play the Bodhrán (percussion)​ and some flutes

I also love Buena vista social club, Hector  Lavoe, Ray Barretto, Marc Anthony, Oscar de Leon, Juan Luis Guerra, Ibrahim Ferrer, Compay Segundo, Omara Portuondo...​. toda la banda!! jaja

El Cantante, Whisky galore,7 years in Tibet, The last Trapper,Cast​ Away, Robin Hood, Idiana Jones, Cold Mountain, Le grand silence, Buena Vista Social Club...

I also like horror movies : the grudge, dark water... all those kind of things

I have a strange feeling about BBC travel documentary:​ don't get me wrong I love them, it's excellent quality, but on the other hand... I see this and I want to go straight away! And usually it takes time before I actually can go! haha

Si j’en crois mon horoscope, je devrais mourir dans la soirée. C’est con, j’avais pas fini de bêcher mes camélias. Ce qui me coûte à l’idée de quitter ce bas-monde, c’est l'idée intolérable que mes enfants vont rentrer du crématorium en courant pour boire mes saint-émilio​n, si cela se trouve dans des gobelets fluo et avec des fils d’ouvriers aux cheveux verts.

Je me heurte parfois à une telle incompréhens​ion de la part de mes contemporain​s qu'un épouvantable​ doute m'étreint: suis-je bien de cette planète ? Et si oui, cela ne prouve-t-il pas qu'eux sont d'ailleurs ?
