Seven advices of MEVLANA
In generosity and helping others,

be like a river…
In compassion and grace,

be like sun…
In concealing others’ faults,

be like night…
In anger and fury,

be like dead…
In modesty and humility,

be like earth…
In tolerance,

be like a sea…

Either exist as you are,

or be as you look.

Ooo, i'm not sure sorry, i haven't really listened to much of his stuff. Some of the Oz bands i like are: The Black Arm Band - a supergroup made up of mostly aboriginal artists who are popular in their own right. i especially like their Murundak album which has mostly protest type songs on it; Missy Higgins; Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds; Architecture in Helsinki; San Cisco; and Vulgargrad, an Oz band that mainly puts its own modern take on old Russian songs! I used to listen to a lot of Oz music but haven't been quite so much lately - not coz i don't like it, i've just been distracted by other music, there's so much good stuff out there. I've been getting into music from the Balkans and USA a bit lately. The Balkan Brass Battle LP (by Fanfare Ciocărlia and Boban & Marko Markovic Orchestra), Galactic and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band are a few i recommend if you feel like dancing. Well, enough rambling from me! I hope i've recommended some that you might like. Have a lovely day, Milly
