the school year is almost over for me and I can not wait for my summer vacations to came. Santa Catarina is suffering with lots of rain... it is awful, but we brazilians have always been very good with helping the others so alll people from other states are sending, food, clothes, money ad all kinds of stuff they need there.

I have played in a local beer festival in october, near here, it was funny!

Hi, it's same old, same old in here. :) Overworked and stressed, but still kind of happy in some kind of a strange way. Yeah, it's good if you survive the not so good things. Survival is my motto for this year because it has indubitably been the crappiest year in my life.

Cat shelter is as always, too many cats, too few people, too few new homes. Yes I agree the world seems to have gone crazy, in June oil cost USD 140 something and now it's below USD 50 per barrel :S I deal with the news of oil prices and them arse clowns lending money every day and sometimes I regret the characterist​ics of my job, because there are moments you would just like to close your eyes and not know anything about this sick sad world.

Oo, local beer festival, that might be an interesting event to visit. We have some major beer events in here in summer, then Finns come over with their ships, get drunk and get robbed. Oh well. I guess it's life.

I'm not having a big weekend, since I struggled with heavy headache yesterday and last night and am kind of recovering today. My stress level has grown too high, it causes health problems, so I really need to make some arrangements​ in my life in general.

So, hope sun's been shinier for you. How are things with football (the one played with feet :) ) this time of year? :)

I am sorry for answering late - once again. I have just finished writing a paper on the Internet and democracy - it wasn't uninterestin​g (I chose the subject), but I am just so tired. I did know that this MA course was going to be stressful, but I had no idea they want you to gain at least 4 gastric ulcers until the end.

Anyway. What have you been up to? Taking a semester off sometimes seems like the sensible thing to do. In your case it surely does. I am always forcing myself to go through everything as fast as possible. So it wouldn't be an option for me.

The Chicken Rodeo video was bad and great at the same time. The Eurovision contest is so painful these days. They should only bring such entries and loosen up the atmosphere a bit - I am sick of bad trannies winning this "contest"​.

Well I pretty much hate the shorter daylight hours;) I'm more a sun person!:P lol  But I guess that comes along with being a European:( Sometimes it can be pretty depressing because we only have cold grey and rainy weather and no snow! The last Elfstedentoc​ht was ages ago. We are all hoping that we can organize it again this winter but I don't think it will happen. It's really a great event tough!! If we can organize it this winter I invite you to come!

I did not follow a lot of sports the last couple of weeks, I have been pretty busy unfornately.​ I did watch some Dutch soccer matches like the one between AJAX and S.C. Heerenveen. I don't think you have heard of the last club but it's the one from my state. AJAX is one of the better clubs we have here in the Netherlands but S.C. Heerenveen did beat them! It was a great match!
I myself am trying to learn the basics of Golf, I got the Tiger Woods game for my PC just to practice more in my free time. Do you play any sports games?
are you still in Australia by the way? and what about this christmas and new years eve? are you going to spend it in Europe??

Im sorry I havent replied in a while. Been busy with work and things.
I didnt want to be right about carlisle. I was kinda hoping that they were gonna prove me wrong...and mayb id be able to go back to the games once theyd won over my stepdad again...but its not gonna happen now.
Have you heard the latest on them? Ward left and they drew 1-1 with grays athetic today in the 1st rnd of the fa cup. Grays athletic are near the bottom of the blue square league and they were beating us til we got the equalizer. But its embarrassing​ to say the least. N theyl get ridiculed in the papers on monday.
Not alots been happening at this end. Iv just been working loads of extra hours...extr​a money for my holiday in 3 weeks time. I also didnt have muni on my internet for about a month which is another reason I havent been online much.
