Welcome to my profile, thank you for visiting. My name is Gertjan, I'm 20 years old, and I live in the Netherlands.​ I love having fun with friends, and making people laugh. I think sincerity is really important, if you're not, please leave my profile :P Just kidding..I'm​ liberal. I adore animals, so I was lucky I could grow up on a farm. Since some months I'm living on my own though, and I'm studying at the university nearby.

Here at Interpals I would like to meet new people from all over the world, it doesn't really matter where you come from. It's about who you are, and I like interesting conversation​s and messages.

Also...I will try to keep contact with the persons I've met already at Interpals, it's a shame some people stop communicatin​g after some time... I won't constantly look for new penpals, otherwise I won't remember and write my old penpals anymore. So that's about it, if this is your first visit, just post something on my wall or send me a message :) And if this is your 10th visit...also​ do it!

Things I like:

+ Making people laugh. Having fun is what makes life wonderful.

+ Music! For me it's impossible to live without it...

+ Having fun with friends. As mentioned earlier =p

+ Meeting new people. That's why I'm here.

Dislikes:

- Being clueless when someone stops writing me, while he or she was very interesting before...

- Guys or girls who need to show their body on their profile. It's useless, and it doesn't make you cool.

- Arguing. I'm not good at it, so I try to avoid it. I'll need to get better at getting angry though..

- Too much time pressure. I need some freedom.

I'm looking for anyone, male or female, preferably close to my age (16-23). If you're older or younger, it's really not a problem though. The most important thing is that you've got something interesting to say.

Please don't just say 'Hello' or 'How are you?'. I think it's pretty logical that I show more interest in people that show sincere interest in me as well.

I am NOT looking for people who have not even talked to me, I'm not looking to extend my friendlist. Everyone is welcome to contact me, but please do not add me as a friend before we've spoken. There are exceptions..​.but please don't use that as your guide :P

I'd like to practise my English with foreigners, but would also like to learn other languages. I know both a bit of french and german, but not really good. So it would be nice to learn that too. I don't know Italian and Spanish at all, but I think I'd love to learn those languages too if it's possible!
