Hello Valda! Thank you for looking at my profile and considering me as a potential long life friend! You sound like a very interesting lady! How old are you? I am in my early fifties. My daughter was an actress for a couple of years. Did a lot of fringe in London but decided to give it up for financial reasons. She switched to a media career and has done extremely well. She now has a wonderful job she really loves and which is very financially rewarding. I have always been a very academic sort of person like the rest of the family, but I have always loved the theatre and the arts. At school I took part in every single play! Loved dancing and reciting poems as well.

I am originally from South America. There I married my English husband. I was only a teenager! He was 20 years older than me! Crazy isn' t it? But we are still together and he has been the perfect husband! Just as well! I had a lovely life in S. America. Beautiful home, lots of family, fantastic weather etc. A lot to give up for a cold place! I was a journalist for a number of years and then moved to Education. I now work part time. I live in the west country but travel to London on Mon evenings and return on Wednesday eve.

I do think that we have lots of shared interests and it would be lovely to keep in touch. Are you married? Single? Living in sin? harr! harr! Do you have any children?  Devon is very pretty. My husbands dad came from Devon.
