Thanks for the support in the forum. The reason the forum has been closed is because of the baiter and 'Please don't tell me the word 'verbal diarrhoea ' is obscene because it is not. Here is the Cambridge English Dictionary meaning https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/verbal-diarrhoea

Hello there I have got to say that I like the way of writing on your wall ... I am interested in that way of speaking " tis quite interesting to say the least.

Have you ever watched the series "Spartacus"?...It is quite interesting the way they speak on that series...I dont know if its totally made up but it is something that really catch ones ear once heard .

I shall give you an example ... "Open mouth and lend voice to tongue." ...that is just one of the great one liners ! there is plenty ! :)

Your profile is very amusing (in a good way!). What books would you advise to those looking to study the origins of English?

First of all, the way you speak (or write, I guess) - wow, you are like a modern bard or a Shakespearean character come alive. Haha.

I don't personally know anyone with such knowledge, so it's quite outstanding, at least in my regard. I have read pieces in Old and Middle English at university, but nothing too extensive. Perhaps next year we will be taught something, who knows.

Oh, thank you! ^^ Forgive me if I don't fully believe that (out of stupid modesty), considering who I am talking to, but thank you nonetheless.

Your linguistic competence, for starters. Not only are you fairly acquainted with Middle and Old English, but there's a long list of languages you are learning. Perhaps it has to do with my own field of knowledge, but I find that absolutely impressive ^^

You seem a very interesting person.

Aw. Well, the photo is very cute either way, haha.
