About Me:
A few words to describe who I am:
I'm Spiritual.
I'm Philosophical.
A Hopeless Romantic (That hasn’t lost hope!)
I follow Stoicism.
I'm an Idealist.
My favorite word is Magnanimity.
I seek love, I shall not fear it.
I'm human in all of its imperfection.
I'm interested in creating friendships abroad and learning about other cultures. I care a lot about humanity and the world we live in. I would like to see as much of it as possible with the time that I have. If you have the urge to message me don't hesitate I always respond, though it may take me a while.
Every day I ask myself what I would like to do with my life and every day I have no response to give. I then ask myself what reason do I have to live and I respond with many. I want to help those who suffer on levels a normal person could never understand. I want to learn the truth of universe that holds my temporary shell. I crave knowledge; I use this knowledge to define who I am. I will not remain the same, with every revelation I experience I transform. I do believe evolution takes place despite the opinions of others. This belief gives me hope that one day mankind will change as a whole. I desire emotions, no longer will I try to bury them, I will embrace both the good and bad. Among all other emotions I desire love, only this will sate the loneliness that resides in my soul. Though I do not know where I will find it I have faith that our paths will cross.

Favorite Quotes:
"Only dead men have seen the end of war." -Socrates-
"Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it."
"It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop."
-Confucius-
"And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." -Abraham Lincoln-
"True religion is real living; living with all one's soul, with all one's goodness and righteousness." -Albert Einstein-
"It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to." -Bilbo Baggins-
"Three passions have governed my life:
The longings for love, the search for knowledge,
And unbearable pity for the suffering of [humankind].
Love brings ecstasy and relieves loneliness.
In the union of love I have seen
In a mystic miniature the prefiguring vision
Of the heavens that saints and poets have imagined.
With equal passion I have sought knowledge.
I have wished to understand the hearts of [people].
I have wished to know why the stars shine.
Love and knowledge led upwards to the heavens,
But always pity brought me back to earth;
Cries of pain reverberated in my heart
Of children in famine, of victims tortured
And of old people left helpless.
I long to alleviate the evil, but I cannot,
And I too suffer.
This has been my life; I found it worth living." -Bertrand Russell-
"People grow through experience if they meet life honestly and courageously. This is how character is built." -Eleanor Roosevelt-

hmm I guess you were with you girl friend, is it right? haha that's very weird. you know Seoul where I go my institute everyday is very multicultural city so it's common to meet people from other countries. but where I live, it's rather small and like bed-town so people still don't get used to that kind of situation. big cities I mean everywhere such as new york, london, tokyo are far away from local stuff they all seem similiar regardless of countries.
anyway thats too bad. are you a workaholic? or you don't wanna work hard but you do it because someone or something forces you? you should relax, seriously. thanks for your comment! that reassures me.
enjoy your rest of this weekend!

I know about the exchange programs, but it will some cost on me, right?
although I'd like to do it right now I haven't any money.
so, I'm planning to go to the US and live after I get enough money.
I think it's hard because US is vast country, but if we can meet in the US I would be happy. :D
Thanks for your advice!!

I'm reading the book called 'the kite runner' I'm so depressed. not because of the book, I'm just sad that there are a lot of words that I don't get in that book. I tried hard, as far as I've concerned, to speak english well. but reading is still a hard part for me. ew, sorry for sighing.

Ok. tell me about the US.
I'm thinking that I'd love to live near the New York City, but is it impossible for me?
could it be that danger?
And yeah, I'll call you Jon. you can call me Hitomi. :)
