My name is Paulina and I'm a 17 years old girl from northern Chile.
I guess I'm just a regular girl, mostly quiet, a bit nerdy perhaps, somewhat depressive (actually a lot), been told I'm weird but who cares?, I do have fun and I love meeting people from anywhere in the planet (and beyond too) whom I can talk/write with about whatever comes to mind.
I love having long deep conversation​s and learning new things all the time, but I also love senseless conversation​s and random things, it can be real fun

I'm in my last year of high school, and next year I'm going to study Socio-cultur​al anthropology​, which is something I'm really passionate about. So, as you might guess, I have at least an idea of geography, cultures and idiosyncrasy​, and that's why I love penpalling.
I'm commited to several causes, like Human Rights and I'm a feminist too.

I absolutely love snail mail, and long chatty and creative letters are prefered. I never write less than 2 pages. I also enjoy sending postcards, photos, small handmade presents, etc. to my penpals, it's quite fun.
Update: I hate to say this, but I think I already have too many penpals and I'm getting short on time and money, so I guess for the moment I won't be accepting any snail mail penpal request, sorry.
Email and msn pals are welcome though, also by PM is quite fun :)

Age, gender, religion, race, etc., doesn't matter, as long as you're sincere, with good intentions, with an opinion of your own, willing to listen and share point of views, empathic and you know how to have a good conversation​ and/or write a proper letter. Is not much to ask, right?

I have a special interest in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe and I'd love to meet people from such regions, but of course everybody from anywhere else is welcome too :)

I'm looking for people believe in friendship, it doesn't matter if you don't have the same interest/hob​bies I am, as long as you respect what I like (because I will always respect yours) and you're nice, friendly and chatty :)

I don't like scammers, stupid, untolerant, close-minded​ people; what's the point of hurt and insult other people? You will always get hurt back.
I also hate pervs, they disgust me.

I love languages and I'd love to speak all of them, but I'm afraid they're too many and my brain is too small for that, so for the moment I only learn norwegian and swedish. I also understand french and portuguese pretty well, but I'm afraid I can't speak them so good myself, so I'd love to improve them.

I'm also trying to decide whether to learn hebrew, hindi or japanese. Actually, it's just to decide which one will go first.

I love cats, Wikipedia, candies, music, geography, ice cream, tea, sci fi, drag queens, and like a billion things more!

Generally indie/altern​ative, and I also listen to gypsy/Balkan​ and African music. But my taste is mostly wide.
