Thought it best if I add a wee apology here to my friends for my absence!!

The decorator moved in last Monday 28th July - and didn't finish until Thursday 31st July!!

There was dust everywhere - I swear all my dinners had grit in them.

The result being - the pooter was out of bounds.

The house is looking better - and after a major clean up yesterday and today here I am back at my pooter, so - sorry for disappearing​ on you all - nice to be back and I'll be intouch soon. Jx

Small, cuddly and 40 something, that's me.

I'm happily married to Pete and we have 1 son who is 10, and 2 mad English Cocker Spaniels.

We live in west central Scotland a stones throw from Loch Lomond in one direction  and Glasgow city center in the other.

I'm an optimistic wee soul and like to just get on with things. I enjoy a chat and a laugh.

I think it's best if I'm just up front - and given that I've received a few requests from Africa and Asia from men wanting to be my soul mate, which I've already said I'm not interested in - Please note - I AM NOT INTERESTED IN RECEIVING MESSAGES OR EMAIL FROM MEN - I AM NOT INTERESTED IN LOVE, RELATONSHIPS​ OR HAVING A SOUL MATE - I ALREADY HAVE ONE!!!!!

I enjoy cross-stitch​ although I start more projects than I finish, and I'm also into genealogy - I've been tracing the old family tree.
I like to read - mainly memoirs and true life stories, and I relax watching old black and white movies.
I love spending time with my family and walking the dogs - you know, the simple things in life.

I'll listen to most things but I'm not into jazz, opera, or rock music.

Ohhh would have to be Its a Wonderful Life - gets me every time.

I also loved The Lady Killers (the original one) and Passage to Pimlico - ohh yes and Young Frankenstein​ - classic.

Fawlty Towers - without a doubt, an oldie but a goody.

Probably the Chronicals of Narnia and I enjoyed reading all Torey Haydens books.
