It is 7:06 am (MDT) in JoaoGomez's chosen time zone.
About Me:
uni student, working on my master's in international affairs, focus in latin american studies. woowho!! I also work full time, so it makes it difficult at times to have free time for myself. I am a pretty nice guy, I can get along with almost anyone from anywhere.
Requests:
i have a question, not really a request. i would like to see what people's opinions are on a certain subject.
natural selection and socialism...
how does one follow the principles or ideals of darwinism, and practice socialism. just curious. on one hand you have natural selection and survival of the fittest. on the other you have a "help of the helpless mentality". it would seem that the former is sort of wicked in this modern world. does this even apply to our global community anymore? darwinism seems like imperialistic and capitalistic ideals, right?
i ask this question to get people thinking. i respect all ideas and beliefs that people have and i truly want a global and cultural perspective on this.

Language Exchange Requests:
I speak enlish and spanish. I was taught castellano in school, but because of my location, most of my slang is mexican or south american. =0) My english is american, obviously. hehehe...
I just started leaning German, very basic for now. Numbers, letters, pronunciations and basic conversational. If anyone wants help with Español or English, in exchange for German, I would be glad to trade. Danke/Gracias/Thanks!!

Hi! Have a nice weekend!
I have a stationary store, and I also assemble computers and i repair them. I hope to start with a Internet café too, but I need a little of money :P It will be soon ;)
What do you think would be the result though?
well, I have my own business, so I guess that I don't have vacation in a specific date :P
Hi!
in arg che is much more popular than evita among young people..
i would say from 40 down.
the truth is evita worked for the country and che for cuba.. but his ideals are hugely respected.
in baires u have to stay in a hostel in san telmo. i would rather have u at my place, i received a couple of friends here and i love being a host.. but now my parents are getting old, so ¡'m trying to move the fun somewhere else...
i mean.. i like staying up late.. and my parents (specially my father) nagged about the noise....
i'm young.. i'm supposed to do that!!!!!
anyway.. san telmo is by far the best touristic place..
there u'll find a perfect mix of culture from the world with tango argentino. and the architecture is all from the colonial times.
we could just move within baires and would be enough, but of course i'll show u a bit of the cities to the north, that is where i live.
we are 20 mins from the start of the city (if u take the avenue, if u take the highway it's 5 mins) and an hour away downtown (rush hour.. on sundays i can get u there in 20mins!! :P)
it's really one big metropolis, but we like to differenciate.. jeje
i'm from Provincia de Buenos Aires...
they're from Ciudad de Buenos Aires..
2 completely different things!
i love being a tourist here.. hehe.. but when i go to work... ugh! i hate it!! :P
jaja... it changes drastically!
want to know something? i'm thinking of changing my career...
now listen: from economics to biochemistry....!!!!!! jajajaja
yes.. i know.. nothing to do!!
Es que si voy a cambiar, lo voy a hacer bien!! No me ando con chiquitas!! :P
Suerte!!

Well I just look at it from a more general view:
I mean... creatures don't mean to actually become stronger or more adapted to their environment, they just evolve over time.
Just like humans I guess? We still are evolving and adapting to our own environment.
But if you actually are referring to our behaviour, like I think you are right?
I think the more intelligent you get (compared to animals) you just lose your actual beast-like behaviour and you become more social.
But when all the rules fall away, and there's nothing or no one to turn to, the behaviour just comes back and you don't know how humans react then.
Is this making any sense? Because I don't think it does. But I'm chatting to people in the meanwhile I'm righting this and I'm getting distracted lol
