Hey!
My name is Jorge and I am originally from Mexico, but I am living in Brisbane, Australia. I'm studying Marine Biology & Ecology at the University of Queensland.
I really love languages. I like them so much in fact I can never concentrate on learning a single one to an acceptable level of fluency... which is kinda bad.
Spanish is my native tongue, I am also fluent in English, and can communicate and get by in Portuguese, and a bit of French and Catalan as well.
Travelling is one of my passions. After graduating I'd like to travel and work around the globe for a few years before settling down somewhere. My first stop I want it to be South/East Africa ;-)
I'm in love... with nature. I think it's a pity how human kind has got to such a low point in which we treat nature as a commodity and something that should be exploited. People who prefer making money than caring about the environment **** me off.

A bit of almost everything I would say.. Rock, Alternative, Ska, Reggae, Electronica, Arabic, African, Metal, Latin, Classical, etc. Basically any musician who shows talent regardless of the genre is appreciated. Talentless show-only bands and singers annoy me.

What part of Mexico are you from? I traveled through la Ciudad de Mexico, pero yo didn't stay por un grande tiempo. ... Sorry, I know my Spanish is awful. I learned enough to be adequate, but I haven't practiced in nearly two years now. I can SO relate with not being able to focus long enough to learn a language til fluency. I adore languages (like you, apparently!) and am currently trying to learn Hebrew, but it's very slow going.

Wazzzzzzzzzzup? lol. I don't know if this is a normal greeting between guys where you're from, but here in Canada and the U.S., it's a rite of way, sorta. lol.
NKOTB? Nah, I was just messing 'cause I SECRETLY like them too! lol. And I MEAN SECRETLY! lol. Wouldn't want to be razzed by my buds. lol.
Montreal is beautiful, but the Autumn weather is starting to creep in. Where the heck did summer go? I'm a Filipino-Canadian who speaks English fluently, and I'm sorry to say can't really speak French as fluent, even though I've been here since I was 7! lol. Yeah, I know, it's sad! lol. And then I meet people like you and you guys speak multiple languages...puts me to shame, man. Awwwww. lol.
What's it like on your side of the pond? And don't begin with it's beautiful! LOL.
Anyways, I gotta go, I've been procrastinating about going back to hitting the books, even though it's 03:00 here in Montreal, and have to be back at the hospital at 07:30. Yay, fun! lol. LATERZZZZZ. Michael.
