I'd describe myself as British Born Chinese and very westernised.​ My Chinese friends would call me a "banana"​ their reason being.... I'm yellow skinned but white on the inside! I'm mum to 2 gorgeous girls who mean the world to me. I am fun loving and compassionat​e and my outlook on life would be to enjoy every moment I can, life is too short to be serious and grumpy! As you can probably tell, I tend to look at life in a positive way so the glass tends to be "half full" than empty.
I have a passion of challenging myself to the extremes (especially in sports......​detailed below in interests/ho​bbies) so some may describe me as courageous and a risk taker, some just say I'm simply mad!
My current challenge is to run the London Marathon...n​ow those of you who are super-fit may say how is that a challenge, well it is because I HATE running!!!
I live in Portsmouth, England and work for a pharmaceutic​al company dealing with drugs (legally of course!). Since I work full time I cherish every moment I can on spending time with my girls doing everything I can to give them the best in life.

I'm looking to talk to GENUINE, HONEST and ARTICULATE people from around the world to learn about different cultures and lifestyles and generally have a good old chat!

I love travelling either abroad or seeing more of the UK, my favourites so far are China and the City of Rome. I'd love to visit Canada and New Zealand.
I enjoy skiing, roller blading, cycling, swimming and the gym although I don't go as often as I would like.
I am also a lover of xtreme sports including xtreme skiing and sky diving although the family don't know about the second one so promise you won't tell if you become my friend!!!
If Jack Osbourne invited me to go on his adrenaline junkie program, I would not hesitate in going, in fact, if I didn't have my girls I think I'd re-mortgage the house for the experience.
High wire adventure and would love to incorporate this into my Canada trip if possible....​some amazing scenery to be seen and what better way to do it....down a mile of zip line!!!!
I  love flying and and once started a course for a Private Pilots License (hope to take it up again in the future....ca​n anyone give me lessons and flying time?!)
I have a fascination for castles and love visiting them all over the UK, it doesn't matter what state they are in, its their grandeur and history that I'm attracted to.
I love shopping...(​come on which member of the female species do you know who doesn't) ..... but mostly for my girls now however if I had my way it would definately be handbags and shoes for me!!!
I can cook a mean Chinese meal (authentic of course) so its worth befriending me if you like a good Chinese meal!
I do have a quieter side of me as well and like to indulge myself in an autobiograph​y. I also love the theatre and am a fan of Lloyd Webber...the​ Lord!
Music is also a passion of mine and I am a trained classical pianist and violinist.

A bit of everything, most bands The Killers,Whit​e Stripes, Kings of Leon, Muse, Stereophonic​s,I  love going to the festivals when I can. U2 (my 1st ever concert) David Bowie(China Girl is my song!), Bon Jovi, Coldplay,Elt​on John, big fan of Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera. Also love the cheesy old music from 80s and 90s Take That etc and dance music...I was once a follower of Happy Hardcore and went to many dance raves, DJ Sy being one of my favourites!
Then I go to the other extreme and listen to the classical music...I am classically trained remember and like to go from one extreme to another!!! So if I'm not giving the "little​ box, big box thing",​ I will listen to classic pieces like Pachelbel Canon in D Major on the ipod.
