Hello World! What shall I say about myself? I joined this site because I have a passion for good conversation. I enjoy meeting new and interesting people, hearing their stories, and learning about cultures different from my own as well as finding others with similar interests and pursuits. My greatest dream has always been to travel, but unfortunately I have been unable to do so, thus far. Currently, I am a full-time student, and that occupies a great deal of my time, but I cannot wait until I get the chance to explore the world outside of what I've known it to be (my small section of the globe). I have a very curious nature and value learning and knowledge. I'm the quintessential bookworm, I enjoy wit and wordplay, and have a tendency to daydream. Perhaps I have said too much. Perhaps I have said nothing at all. At any rate, I look forword to meeting you, whoever you may be.

I would enjoy meeting anyone new. I have a broad range of interests and insights and would enjoy coversing on just about any topic. I am just beginning to learn the Japanese language (beginning being the operative word here) so any help with that would be welcome. I would also like to improve my Spanish because I rarely get to use it, but I have no requests really. That being said, I would prefer that rudeness, perversion, or hatred not be an issue. I'm pretty open-minded and respectful, and I would like others to be likewise.

Music is a great passion of mine. I love many different styles, and it would be impossible to list them all. I'm a die-hard rock fan (metal, classic, alternative, etc), but I also enjoy classical, jazz, instrumental, celtic, bluegrass, pop....the 60's gave us some great stuff....the 90's too...The list never really ends.

Just like music, I can't even begin to cover all of my favorites. I have far too many, and like music, what I'm reading at any given moment depends a great deal on my mood. I love to read, and many different books appeal to me. It's somewhat safe to say that many of the classics, make it on my list, as they never seem to go out of style.
