Howdy!

I'm Caroline but most people Carrie,  but fell free to call me what you may! “What's in a name”, eh? “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet” and all that jazz. ^.^

I live in East Kilbride which is a large town in Glasgow, in Scotland - the land of eternal rain (and wind!) It’s pretty dull here, my town is pretty much one giant faceless-hou​sing estate! T_T

I’m sixteen (seventeen in April) and I started my 5th year of high school a few weeks ago, so I’ve been really busy so I’ll apologise for my lengthy time between replies.

I’m really interested in Japan, so it would be great to talk about that but really I’m happy to talk about anything. Although you may need to be patient with me! =] I might not always know a lot about a subject, but tell me anyway, I’m always happy to learn something new.

But please be patient with me, ‘kay? Cause I’m not always the fastest learner ><  And I promise to be patient too and I’m willing to help- or at least as best as I can.

So, if your unsure about anything, just go ahead and ask me. Sometimes I don’t make sense- so tell me when I’m not and I’ll reword things.

It’s a teaching site so I don’t expect everyone’s English to be perfect, so don’t worry about that. =]

I’m a bit of a perfectionis​t, people tend to think I have OCD (obsessive Compulsive Disorder) I don’t have the disorder- well at least I’ve not been diagnosed, but I don’t think I have it, but I am a littler particular about the way things are done and get a little anxious if they’re not done my way. LOL 

For example, my plastic cups must be stacked in colour co-ordinated​ order and all my CDs need to be alphabetized​ and I hate seeing okay, spelled like “OK”. There are other things too, but I won’t bore you. =]

Hobbies? Um, I draw a lot! I guess i don't have very many Hobbies.

But I’m pretty arty kid. I really like comic books and manga and I love the anime style of art. I think Hiroaki Samura’s my favourite mangaka but I like other art too, like Salvador Dali- he’s probably my favourite artist of all time. Who wouldn’t love a man with a handle bar moustache? ><
I couldn't live without music! And I’m never without my IPod- honestly I depent on that like I depend on oxygen! ^^

Um, I started dong kendo about 2 months ago- which is great! If a little painful, stressful and frightening.​

Kendo’s a Japanese martial art/ sport where you fight with bamboo or wooden swords. Needless to say- like most physical activities- I truly suck at it and I think I might have actually gotten worse since I began but Ill keep trying to get better! (Even if I never do!)



Um, I like Vintage things, like Retro Music and classic Vespa Scooters and Volkswagen Camper Vans. I have a developing interest in Fashion, especially Lolita and Harajuku. I love Twiggy! ^_^  I like hair dye, currently my hair pink and brown! =] And someday I want to learn to roller skate. >.<

Well, that’s all I can think of at the mo. So, I’ll shut up now.  If  I’ve forgotten something important, then just ask. Feel free to ask anything, even if it’s not about me, I’ll do my best to answer- I’m always up to a challenge. =]

It goes without saying, but no pervs please (Alliteratio​n =D) Or freaky people... unless you're freaky in an adams family way, then I'll totally want to know you! ^.^

And no one older than 20 unless you're like 106; which would be really kool! =]

Other than that, I don't mind. I support gay and bi and like I said, I don't expect anyone to have perfect english =]

I speak english- obviously ^^
My spelling isn't great, but i'm pretty good at english, I got a 1 for my english exam- which is the same as an A I guess! ^^

I'm learning Japanese at home, usoing Rosettastone​ and various podcasts, dictionars and other beginers guides that relatives have bought me. ><

But it would be nice to learn some basics from a real person as apposed to a book or computer program! ^^

Well, like I said, I Love art, especially anime but really, I like art in general actually.

I guess I'm  pretty dull, just normal things, like hanging out, I love listen to music and I go to the cinema waaaay waaaaaaaaay to often LOL

I recently starting doing yogo- which is awesome and I'm friggin' addicted to that pinball game for the Ipod touch! ^^ Like I said I do Kendo and I recently started doing Body Combat- which is a little like Kickboxing.
