About Me:

I'm an American man living in Germany. The sort of contemplative  guy; vegetarian, atheist, political animal, book-reader, convinced single, freedom-lover, GWB-hater, a little bit extravagant, over-sensitive, social democrat party member,  paying for the International League of Non-Religious and Atheists (IBKA), Greenpeace, etc
Love to think about things, am never bored when I'm alone.  I am interested in history, politics, arts, religion. I am always asking “Why” and will never be satisfied with an answer like “it is written in the bible”.
German is my native language; if you're interested in, maybe I can teach a little.
I know most people love to copulate and breed out new lives – but don’t annoy me with that stuff.      All this daily **** about the tiny little pets, how cute they are, isn’t my world. If I see any profile-pics with pets or the proudly presented children, I surely won’t show any interest in that person.
I don’t like to meet millions of other people, avoid places like dance-clubs, bars and restaurants. I do not flirt, I hate sentences like “I am down to earth, easy going, looking for fun, …” I am as romantic as a clay brick.
I don’t like the mainstream-taste, I cannot stand loud people or masses at large events – for me it is delusion or mania.

Favorite Books:

The last book, what really impressed me was “Beaufort” from Ron Leshem (in German: “Wenn es ein Paradies gibt”). It shows a different view of a topic we hear every day in the news. I sank down into that story and felt really depressed – as a part of that group.
Synopsis wrote about it:
Beaufort, a remote and beautiful fort in southern Lebanon dating back to the Crusades, has been an outpost of the Israeli Defence Force for nearly twenty years, and now, for the teenage soldiers who live there presiding over the last moments of Israel's presence in Lebanon, it has become a world of its own, an enclave in the heart of enemy territory where boy soldiers create a state with its own rules and its own unique, outrageous, brutal language. ….. This is a story with no enemy, only an amorphous entity that fires missiles from the surrounding mountains. And while thirteen young men propel the novel and give it life and colour, the real hero of "Beaufort" is fear: contagious, intoxicating, palpable fear, a word they forbid themselves from uttering. "Beaufort" is a devastating portrayal of a generation finding that the values and principles bestowed on them by their parents have betrayed them, and the terrifying nihilistic reality of Middle Eastern conflict.

Favorite Quotes:

an seinem Kreuz sehen muß, wie sich die Felder blutig röten;
wenn die Pfaffen Kanonen und Flugzeuge segnen
und in den Feldgottesdiensten beten, daß es Blut möge regnen;
und wenn die Vertreter Gottes auf Erden
Soldaten-Hämmel treiben, auf daß sie geschlachtet werden;

In that site critize mexicans and others for going to US, but they don't tell or don't know what US do to other countries like PR.  I have a "war" to keep my culture, way of life. Well whats the Wheel of Power? Excuse me for my lack of knowlegde in that LOL.

Great profile!  Why satisfy with "it's written in the bible"? The bible is just the most intelligent joke on humanity :P
