About Me:
People say I'm weird... in a good way I suppose/hope :) [... ou ^^ si t'es français]. Then again I do have ADHD.
I like parties just as much as I like thinking, Justice as much as Ryuichi Sakamoto, and adore everything film related. I'd consider myself an idealist but I'm firmly bound to reality. In other words, the world is a playground, but not in a John Grady Cole sense :)
Since I think in images and sounds my words often sound awkward as I have to hunt for those which match the pictures in my head (this is called ADHD by the way. ADHD does not mean that every time a chicken runs by I must drop everything and chase it).
I love and am fascinated by people. I'm sorry Sartre, but l'enfer, c'est toi.
I want to study neuroscience and film, as the former will help me understand why my mind works the way it does, and the latter is my medium to express the way I see the world.
I am not riddled with angst and often have to force myself to stress, even though everything I've said may suggest the opposite.
The present is simply the constantly translating vertical asymptote lying between the exponential past and present. Investing more time relishing/dreading one more than the other thus serves no purpose; it is a learned human thought process.
Hearing PT Anderson speak at our school's film festival was one of the highlights of my life for so many reasons. I could give you a novella about it.

Favorite Movies:
Too many. There are admirable aspects in almost every film, but I judge them depending on their degree of success in achieving what they set out to communicate, the aesthetics, and whether I even agree with the ideas presented. Personally, I love anything that has a sharp wit (ie Kubrick and Guest among many many others).
BUT: I've fashioned a very incomprehensive list to serve the needs of those interested:
There Will Be Blood
Boogie Nights
Les Quatre Cents Coups
Tout Va Bien
Delicatessen
Amélie
Pierrot le Fou
Bananas
Manhattan
Waiting for Guffman
Best in Show
A Clockwork Orange
Kill Bill Vol. 1&2
Kind Hearts and Coronets
Pumpkin
Saved!
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Dr. Stranglove
E.T.
Fantasia
Harold and Maude
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Blazing Saddles
Duck Soup
Monty Python (x3)
The Silence of the Lambs
Rear Window
Reality Bites
The Bicycle Thieves
Pulp Fiction
This Is Spinal Tap
The Third Man
Sunset Boulevard
The Truman Show
Y Tu Mama Tambien
Amores Perros
Before Sunrise
Cidade de Deus
Brokeback Mountain
Full Metal Jacket
Heathers
Network
The Philadelphia Story
Rebecca
The Apartment
ah and so many more...

Hi there!
So, how has been your stay? you seem to be very happy of it!
I really enjoy going to Paris as a tourist, but not as a full time resident (well, it's not completely true...every week end I'd come back to see my family who lives in the region). I mean, commuter life really sucks...I'd think you'd have to be a masochist to like those awfully cramped metros...the lovely strikes...the day to day disruptions...etc...OK, I may sound sarcastic, but, I think urban life isn't my cup of tea if I may say so... but yes, Paris is a beautiful city, as well as NY is, as well as London, etc.....clearly tons of things to do...
You should have contacted me! I could have given you a tour of paris!
I'm currently working for Evil Ronald Mc Donalds in the south of Paris (50Km). But thankfully, I'll be done with him next week! youppee!
So tell me, what did (or do? are you still in Paris?) you like in France? Did you confirm any stereotypes? either way?
Where you staying in a youth hostel?
To answer your question, yes, I'd rather be back in the US... the only place where I feel comfortable...strange I know... I go back as often as I can (thanks to Ronnie's money...).
Ok, well, I think I'm drifting away from any reasonable thinking, I have to leave it here for now (... Some how selling cheesburgers has an effect on my brain! lol)

I watched the Aphex Twin Coachella videos posted on YouTube. Looked like a disappointing perfomance :(
Hi there, you left me a wall post, and shame on me, I didn't answer (I haven't been on this website for a long time, and had my exams).
Well to answer you, I lived five years in Illinois, near Chicago, then 6 years in the state of Minnesota. And then back to France...sniff
....but be sure I'll be back!
o take care,
