I'm an English guy into travelling, meeting people and learning about other cultures, and I'm particularly​ interested in East Asia, especially China. I have already travelled in China, and this was a great experience. Having visited the major touristic cities in China (Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an and Hong Kong), I am keen to visit again soon and explore further. Other countries I am interested in include Japan, Korea, South East Asian countries, South American countries, and Scandinavia.​ Apart from travelling and languages, I'm also interested in history, literature and current affairs, and I occasionally​ go swimming and play racquet sports.

If you want to know more about the UK, or practise English, I can help with that too.

My Chinese level is intermediate​. Any Chinese speaker is welcome to contact me as I need all the practice and help I can get! I am able to chat and write about most everyday things in Chinese.

I am a beginner in Korean.

I have a post-beginne​r's knowledge of Spanish.

I would also like to learn Japanese in the near future, and also travel to Japan. I am looking for Japanese penpals too!

If you are from south east Asia I'm also keen to get to know you. At some point I would like to learn a language that is less commonly studied in the west, such as Vietnamese or Thai.
