My connection to Interpals is playing up. :(
Yup, this site is just dandy sometimes. ha!
Action novels, well I'm into intrigue novels that involve lots of violence and all that good stuff. Andy Mc Nab and Chris Ryan have perfected it because they have actually been there and have done that so it makes reading their stories that much more realistic. Especially for someone who knows what they are talking about. :)
Oh yep, stormy nights. In fact I would probably not read at all but rather snuggle up with quilt cover and pass out. :D
Yep, I think we better move into the message inbox before the whole world knows our life story inside out! Ha!
I'll send you a PM. :)

haha! the piccies will come all in good time madam... where's my postcard first? ahem... :)
I'm a huge fan of console games, but I'm your typical guy that plays Halo and James Bond games - yeh, I know.. such a guy! :P
But I'll definately keep an eye out for Silent Hill, I enjoy the effects and a story behind the game. It puts you in the zone. :)
oooo... I have a saviour to rescue me from my book debacle! Woo!
:D
Well being a guy (once again) I read action novels, but I have been really getting into fictional biographies. Like stories that progress over generations over times and events in history. I get right into them especially if the subject matter involves a moment in History that I am aware about.
Soooooo... on a nice stormy night or on a breezy spring day what does LoneDecember read to take her mind away?

No, I dont have one from Kentucky but I would love to have one. :) I'll swap you one from Australia. :P Not exactly cool, but... :D
Ah, yes, figurines. That's another thing I collect too. Mostly from places that I have been to. Sorry... no graveyards... there doesnt seem to be a tourist market for them. :(
I've heard of Silent Hill, but havent done anything with it yet. What's it about?
Ah, and books. Yep, its not that I collect them. But when I read a book I keep it. My library is starting to rival the National Library now, I think its time to perhaps go to a second hand book store and give some away. It's a vice, I read it and wont put it away. :( I need help!! :P
Ha! Everything Illuminated... love that film. I saw alot of myself in that. I often wondered what it would be like to own an antique store... I wouldnt make any money because I'd keep all the stuff. :D

Yep, we got something the same here too. And something else called a widowmaker. Yeah, they really do come up with some scary names for the type of critters that will do exactly what their names imply! :0
I know what you mean about the land clearing. What is going on in Brazil an elsewhere where the deforestation is an international crime. It effects the whole planet and we wonder why our weather patterns are going crazy, its easy to blame it on the obvious but when you starve the planet of oxygen producing trees its any wonder the planet hasnt died already.
Ha! My collections... well where do I start... hmmmmm.. postcards are the flavour of the month at the moment. Its been a gradual collection over the years. I got some rocks of differing minerals including some gold and I also got a nice big chunk of meteorite - thats my favourite. The pure black molten mineral with heat crystalisation ... its incredible. I also got a few police patches, military badges and I collect anything from my fav rugby club and I am ... sorry if i shock you... a phantom comic book fan. :)
What about you... what things do you hoard? :P

Wow! A Scottish AND Spanish mix... what a deadly combination! ha!
I'm still in the processes of researching as far back as I can go but I do know that the Clan our name represents comes from the Border regions or "Lowlands" but they were fairly well dispersed all over Scotland and intermarried throughout the UK and Ireland.
Alaska would be cool. Literally but I heard it is beautiful up there and much of it is untouched - which I hope remains that way. I'm sure if you lock yourself in a steel cage the Grizzlys wont get you. :)
Safer to come to Australia... but then again we do have our fair share of nasty critters. In fact we have critter called the 'Black Widow' and the 'Death Adder'. Umm.. better stay where you are! :P
