Restless, moody writer (as of yet unpublished)​ seeking kindred spirits for random conversation​s and perhaps even an enduring friendship. I’m stranded at the moment in Northern Kentucky, where I also had the displeasure of spending my childhood. As surprising as this sometimes is to people, I'm a mother of a 16 year-old son (who’s far more mature than me at times), and I’m also married to a strange, but somewhat sane English web developer and musician, (who never updates his blog it seems). I do spoken word, along with writing, and various samples of my work- both written and spoken occasionally​ show up on my blog, so if you're interested, have a look and listen. I've been told I'm a bit scary and intense… and that I have an unusual accent-which​ doesn't sound a thing like the place I'm stuck in. I rarely sleep, which means that sleep deprivation sometimes gives me a bubbly, mad, slightly intoxicated feeling and then I tend to giggle way too much. I'm extremely open-minded and nothing shocks me-ever. I REALLY miss being in the city, and I can’t wait to relocate. I love Japanese horror and video games of all sorts. I am really terrible at small talk, and prefer to go deep-very quickly with people I 'click' with- rather than talk about the weather, (though weather's OK to talk about too). I'm a huge music lover and was going to be a rock star or an opera singer before I began writing. Oh, and I'm a bit of an Anglophile too.

I’m looking for kindred spirits who are drawn to the darker side of life, literature and music. Spirituality​ of all sorts is also welcomed, and I will gladly discuss anything from Voodoo to Buddha to Jesus. I'm also extremely into all things paranormal, so if you 'see the occasional ghost', that's a real plus too!!
