About Me:

Hey my name is Madison. I live in Santa Monica California. I'm seventeen years old. I believe that everyone who enters my life teaches me something new.
If my life had a soundtrack it would be acoustic With songs about the way I laugh at my ability to love things that I can't have If my life were a movie It would be black and white with still-frames in color and hue The credits would say a simple phrase, like "You aren't what you say or what you do, so don't worry so much, just get on with a life that you love" I had a good day Since I didn't die or have to wait In any really long lines at the store.

Favorite Quotes:

Ninety percent of rock songs are about love and heartbreak. By that logic, I guess a  muse is the most important thing for a musician to have"
Dhani Harrison.

No words of wisdom but here's some things to think about: Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself. If you are going to doubt something, doubt your limits. It's not the years in your life that count, its the life in your years. Anything is possible. Happiness is like a butterfly, the more you chase it, the more it will elude you, but if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder. Life is a daring adventure. You are only young once, but you can stay immature indefinitely?. Everything happens for a reason. How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are? Money talks, mine says good bye. Smile god loves you. Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the number of moments that take our breath away. We do not remember days.. we remember moments. Never let the odds keep you from doing what you know in your heart you were meant to do. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed? by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. Explore, Dream, Discover.

"we ask ourselves,
who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented and fabulous?
actually, who are you not to be?
you are a child of God.
your playing small doesn't serve the world.
there's nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure
around you.
we were born to manifest the glory of God
that is within us.
all of us.
and as we let our light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission
to do the same.
as we our liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.
-- Nelson Mandella '94

believe everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you apprieciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes things fall apart so better things can fall together. -Marilyn Monroe

"We must never confuse elegance with snobbery."
                                                     -Yves Saint Laurent

"Your emotions are the slaves to your thoughts, and you are the slave to your emotions."
                                                            -Elizabeth Gilbert:Eat, Pray, Love

"Still, she loves the world for being rude and indestructible and she knows other people love it too, well as rich, though nobody speaks specifically of the reasons.
                                - Michael Cunningham: The Hours

“The instinct to offer a gift to the gods seems deeply human.”
                                                    - Frances Mayes: A year in the world

“Nobody should ever make you feel like you don’t deserve what you want.”
                                          - Heath Ledger: 10 things I Hate About You

“I am I! And I may not know why I know that I like it. Three cheers! I am I!”
-Dr. Suess: Happy Birthday To You

“After a while, friends become about as useless as relatives.”
                                                         - Jane Fonda: Georgia Rule

“Our American Pattern, is to be patternless unless -
individualism is the pattern.”
                                                        -Peal S. Buck: Indiana

“There is nothing wrong with holding an opinion and holding it passionately.”
                                                            -Condoleezza Rice

“People say they find love, as if it were an object hidden under a rock. But love takes many forms and is never the same in any man or woman.”

Seriously?  That's warm to me.
Riverside = close to everything (jobs, tons of people, L.A.)
Phoenix = doesn't get earthquakes, cheaper, still growing
Both are hot, and I like it hot.

I would imagine that it would be cold.
The weather was bipolar when I worked.  Some nights it was down to 35; others was as warm as 65.
I'm thinking about either Riverside or Phoenix.

I got a seasonal job at Cedar Point working at a haunted house there.  I got to ride the roller coasters for free, although I'm still waiting for my final paycheck to come through the mail.
Yeah, it's amazing how they can get so many people there when the ball drops each year.
I'm almost certain about where I'm gonna end up in 2009.
