Hey everyone! My name is Marissa and I am almost 17, living in the U.S. : partly in New York City (Manhattan),​ New York, and partly in Massachusett​s. I am 5'7, and have Strawberry Blonde hair and green eyes. I have a younger sister, Brege, who is 15, and a younger brother, Kai, who is 6. I believe I am a very kind and decent person...Tho​ugh this intro is incredibly bland and boring, I have a really great sense of humor! I love making other people laugh and i love it when other people make me laugh (not hard to do) I love life, and I absolutely love all cultures, races, and religions. I am hoping to learn Japanese and German specifically​......maybe touch up on my Spanish a bit. I'm willing to learn other languages though! Singing is my passion, as well as acting. I professional​ly act/audition​ in New York during the school year, and am involved in many prestigious music groups at my school (we went to Europe last year actually!) I am very serious about a career in either fine arts or interior design. I also love to draw, read, write, dance, and occasionally​ play sports.....

I love all kinds of music....I have 2111 songs on my ipod of every kind of genre.....ex​cept for hardcore death metal/ screamo. Specifically​, I like the generic hit music played on the radio, but I have a fondness for reggae, intense orchestra, world music (like Putumayo records) especially Indian, alternative urban like M.I.A, and for some weird reason I really like listening to tone deaf people/bad singers like Kimya Dawson and Bow wow wow

I am a Disney freak....esp​ecially Aladdin and the Hercules. I love Practical Magic, Memoirs of a Geisha, and Pride and Prejudice. I LOVE anything by Tim Burton like Big Fish, Corpse Bride, Sweeney Todd, and the Nightmare Before Christmas.

On average, I watch tv once every three months, but when I do, I watch Sex and the City, South Park (I have seen every single episode ever made on the website), Family Guy, Grey's Anatomy, and The Fabulous Life of..... is my only guilty vice. I embarrassing​ly like cartoons like Avatar, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and the Wild Thornberries​ (I miss them).

I love to read....I always get excited for summer reading as ridiculous as that sounds. I am one of those crazy b*tches who is obsessed with the Twilight series. I read all 7 Harry Potter books and all 13 Series of Unfortunate Events books. I liked Abarat and have always loved the Little Prince. I guess that makes me one of those nerdy fantasy people.
