About Me:
There is nothing incredible about me.
I just happen to like the movie "The Incredibles" a lot. I'm just your average guy (and I'm very credible). Find that incredible? Try me.
My personality :
I'll let you discover that as you get to know me better.
My hobbies and interests :
Computers, electronic gadgets, photography (especially animals), psychology (human and animal), "extreme" web-surfing (explained below).
I collect watches, laptop computers, and all sorts of gadgets. I love fixing computers.
I don't normally consider web-surfing a hobby, since many people nowadays do it out of necessity. But considering the "extreme" way I do it - having 20 to 30 browser windows open simultaneously - I think that qualifies as a hobby...LOL.
By the way I'm also a hamster lover. So check out my hamster photo album; you won't be disappointed.
By the way, I'm also an eBay "fanatic". If you need help looking for bargains I'm the one to talk to.
Oh, how can I forget: I love watching movies but I love chatting about them even more.
Yeah, I'm finding I have actually more hobbies than I first realized....
*NEW* WHAT TO SAY TO YOUR PENPAL ? Whatever you say, don't
say "whatever". ( Learn why ).
*NEW* AT LAST, A DEFINITIVE ANSWER to an age-old question: Why is
my "private", top secret album inaccessible ? The answer is here.
*NEW* VIDEO: NOM NOM NOM - CUTE ANIMALS EATING ( It's here )
( Warning: The accompanying song can be very addictive ! )
*NEW* INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS - the way you gesture "3" with .......................... your fingers can become a matter of life or death (Find out more)

Requests:
I'm looking for : penpals/friendship from all around the world and all age groups. Males/females/gender non-specific people are all welcomed. Hey, I'll talk to you even if you're non-human! ( In fact, ESPECIALLY if you're non-human.) I'm open-minded in regards to religious affiliation, sexual orientation, including, but not limited to: heterosexual, homosexual, bi-sexual, bi-curious, quasi-homosexual/heterosexual (after sex-change), pansexual, asexual (non-sexual), "would-rather-not-say"-sexual.
Feel free to bookmark my page. There's no need to inform me. Feel free to add me as friend. No need to speak to me first. Everyone on Interpals is my friend, by default (Sez who? Sez me.)
Standard Clause: No perverts, no spams, no marriage proposal, no visa application accepted here.
Statement of Compliance: This page contains no profane language or images; no spywares or viruses; rated PG13.
Scammers : Please send all your money requests HERE and stop bothering other members. Please include your postal address ( no PO box) and your daytime and evening phone number. I promise everyone will get something. In fact, you'll likely get more than what you bargain for.
Dreamers : Pleeeease, no more emails asking me to save your country or save your business from foreclosure. I'm not really Mr. Incredible. Mr. Incredible is just a computer-generated cartoon figure!!!

I speak fluent English and Chinese. My Spanish is getting rusty and can use some help.

PERSON OF THE WEEK
Each week I scour the site through thousands and thousands of profiles to bring you the cream of the crop, the best of the best, the most inspirational person in the Interpals community. Remember, it's not how much you achieved, but how much you inspire OTHERS to achieve, that makes you inspirational. So, without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce this week's:
PERSON OF THE WEEK
Karita89 (Karla) from Brisbane, Australia.
Life long education is a noble goal that we all pay lip service to but relatively few of us actually attain. This, despite a wealth of scientific evidence that shows that keeping our mind active and challenged all the way into old age does contribute significantly to our overall health, both mental and physical.
Those who aren't convinced should come and meet Karla. "I don't understand people who just want to sit in front of TV all day. There is so much to be explored." Well she's not kidding you. In 2003, at the age of 67, she received a doctoral degree in Linguistics at the University of Sydney in Australia, thus becoming one of the oldest persons to receive a Ph.D. at that university. But the learning did not stop there. She's active in Christian Studies and belongs to an international Christian Missions organization. From time to time she joins up with them to go on outreach programs to various countries: Thailand, Indonesia, South Africa, Bangladesh, etc.. There she works with others helping in orphanages; teaching English and teaching Christian subjects.
Karla represents an outstanding example of the spirit of life long education and we're honored here to name her our Person of the Week.

Last week's issue of Person of the Week
Orimar (Robert) from Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
Robert is originally from the U.S. and has been living in Mexico for only a few years. He's a hotel designer and has been involved in many hotel projects in the U.S., South America and Europe.
Robert has a rather unusual hobby, which is writing letters to prison inmates all across the U.S.. According to him, it all started about 5 years ago. He was initially motivated by boredom, but later it turned into a labor of love and compassion:
"My letters to the 11 inmates I write to are a project involving pictures, post cards and long letters. I actually keep records of everything I send so as not to duplicate...the guys tend to complain when a dupe appears in their envelope. Three of the guys have left prison now and have actually come to visit me here and in my home in Zihuatanejo."
Today Robert is a successful entrepreneur.... (more)

Person of the Week is published every Sunday. If it's late coming out (and it usually is), it's probably because:
a) one of my hamsters has chewed through the phone line causing me to ...... ... lose my internet service, OR
b) I became so frustrated "I" chewed through the phone line.
