About Me:

Hello my name is Nathan. I am 20 years old and a live in a pleasant little town called Stockton which is situated in the north-east of England. I am a friendly, outgoing guy who greatly enjoys reading, writing, making new friends and generally having a good time and enjoying life. I am currently a very proud university student.

AND ONE VERY URGENT POINT:

If I have looked at your profile and not spoken, it doesn't mean I don't like your profile, I can't be bothered, or I'm unkind. It means I'm usually too shy to initiate a conversation (although I might just not like what I see, you know ha ha)

I have a deep love for France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Greece and Russia and would love to speak to anyone from these countries in order to find out more about life, culture, food, history....anything.

Requests:

Right, time for some basic facts in the style of Bullseye: (my favourite gameshow)

INNNNNN ONE! = I am a caring, honest guy with time for everyone
INNNNNN TWO! = But please, only contact me if you really wish to be my friend.
INNNNNN THREE! = No creepy people please. We tend not to get on.
INNNNNN FOUR! = No flirtations or dates or marriage proposals. But bring on the friends!
INNNNNN FIVE! = Please be able to string a sentence together. It helps an awful lot.
INNNNNN SIX! = Be sure to have talked to me or a while before adding me a friend, not the other way around. Thank-you.
INNNNNN SEVEN! = I adore good conversations, so please write a little more than just "Hi, how are you?" I learned the hard way that that is not the way.
INNNNNN EIGHT! = Genuine, honest, friendly, fun, talkative people please. Let's make our friendship a lasting one.
AND BULLY'S SPECIAL PRIZE = Observation of the above guidelines will ensure that we get along like a house on fire. I look forward to hearing from you.

I have a deep love of Russia and would love to speak and write Russian one day, so any Russians, male or female, are most welcome.

Anyone intelligent with plenty to say and discuss and one who is not afraid to be themself and speak their mind is what I'm looking for. I enjoy talking to people from other countries but I realize I've been neglecting my own countrymen so if there are any Brits who fancy a chat you'll be more than welcome.

Interests, Hobbies, etc.:

Hello! :)

How are you?

Do you really want me to sum up Macbeth, or are you trying to check if I know my lesson? :P :P We corrected the question I had to answer in literature, the poem was from Marvell: "To his coy mistress" We go really quickly from an author to another. Today for example, we studied a novel from Fieldling. I should start learning my lessons for I have exams again in December and they'll be more important than the others. (by the way, if you see horrible mistakes in my messages, feel free to tell me about them)

I like thrillers too, but I don't know many. I watched The Bourne identity yesterday, and liked it. I also enjoy watching comedies...

One of my friends proposed me to go to England, just for a day with some other friends, to see the Christmas lights in the streets, but we know that it would be very hard to go to London by car, and going by train would be expensive now. She thought about going to Oxford (by car), do you know what it looks like in November or December? Or do you know any other places in the South that would be nice to visit? :) It's okay if you don't have any ideas, you live in the north of England, right? :)

Have a great day!! :D

Ook! I'll check those albums out then! thanks ^^
Wow I'm really jealous.. phantom of the opera in London.. sounds amazing indeed! and it's cool that ur university organizes this kind of stuff! I remember that only my high school took us to the theatre to see some play in English..
so when u go then tell me how it was :)

Haha well I've tried green tea actually.. but I'm not really fond of it. It's too "light" and although it can be relaxing sometimes I want  a tea with a strong taste..like black teas.. I like different varieties of black tea:ceylon, assam.. and among the blended:  earl grey, english breakfast, prince of wales..
Twinings is my fav up to now because it's also the most easily available here.. but I've tried also other brands and some of them were really good.
I gotta try Tetley's sooner or later :)

I've just heard about Meat Loaf but I don't know anything by him yet.. so any suggestion is welcomed =)
Congrats!! And btw yes I do like the Phantom of the Opera.
Yes definitely Michael Crawford will always be the one!
I also liked the movie version.. it was kinda touching I thought.
But I'd love to see the musical in theatre. It'd be amazing *_*

Oh and btw someone who likes tea more than coffee has all my respect! lol
what's ur fav kind of tea so far??

Hey!

How are you?
How did your show go? :) What was it about?

I'm happy to read that you found great friends, but how could people not want to be friend with you, you're really nice! :D :D

Suprisingly, I got an A in civilization! I really thought I had failed!! Literature went well too, but I'm a bit disappointed, because I didn't know the teacher was expecting us to sum up Macbeth in the 1st question (it wasn't even ask!) so I lost at least 3 points out of 20. Now we are studying a poem by Marvell, I have to explain the references to the Bible Geography, but I've never read the Bible, so I'm quite stuck! xD

Is there a kind of movies you like by the way? :)

Hey Nathan,

I'm sorry to read that you have had big troubles :/ I really hope it's going to be okay for you... :(
My guinea pig didn't have a name, but she had different nickname, and we loved her a lot. :)

I found very interesting friends, who see life the same way as me, so I really enjoy being at uni with them. I hope it's the same for you. :)

I don't think I will pass my civilization exam, we were all a bit lost, when we heard that all we had to do was to write about: "The Uk: a state, a nation and a territory", knowing that the teacher had told us not to say what we had written in class. I tried to link those 3 parts, but ended up writing non-sense. Oh well, I might do better next time :)
My literature exam was easier, we got 10 questions about writers and a bit of history, and then we got 4 questions about an extract of Macbeth.

So last week was a great week, I was globaly satisfied with my exams (i don't know when I'll get the results though), I also heard from my former math teacher, who wrote me that I was invited to go back to my high-school, where i was told that I was chosen to represent the former students at some meetings. :) [that means a lot as I love my school :D] I also got the surprised to be given a present and a letter from my former biology teacher, who's the person I admire the most on this planet, even though I barely dare talking to her. ^^

Take care,

Magali

Hey Nathan ;) I'm doing good. Thanks. How about you?

About Stephen King's books. I haven't read them yet. I'm gonna fix it soon though ;) And I began to read his Dark Tower. And I must say I find it very impressive. He definitely knows how to make people feel excited with his books.

Tonight i'm going out for the birthday of my friend, some strippers will be there xD So it will be funny ! I won't see Michael Jackson film, it's shit, it was just made for money not for him, i prefer listen to his music.
I miss thrilling rides, i must go to Disneyland for Halloween!
