I'm an open minded girl with a craving for learning about foreign languages and foreign cultures, especially Asian countries like Korea and Japan. One of my main goals is to make some friends from both Japan and South Korea. So if you're from there, even better;) But it doesn't really matter where you're from.

well, what else is there to know about me, hmm..^^

I currently work in my dad's cleaning company and basically clean all kinds of places. I will attend college this coming September and study oriental languages and communicatio​n, specialising​ in Japanese. :D

I care a lot about my friends and love to hang out with them and act goofy. I can be pretty crazy sometimes, but I think that's the fun part about me. Í guess I'm not easily embarrased even when I do stupid stuff, haha.

Usually I'm a very cheerful and kind girl and I dislike racism and prejudice quite a lot. Of course I have my bad days just like anybody else of course, haha.

Also, writing and music are very important to me. I love to sing and listen to music. Writing is an important outlet of mine as well.Ii'm my own worst critic when it comes to my writing, though, so lately I have been having trouble freely expressing myself on paper. But it's getting better. ;)

I hold in my heart a fondness for languages with Asian origin, especially those with a character based system. Right now I want to learn to be fluent in both Japanese and Korean. I adore the way these language sound, it's so wonderful. So if you're a native speaker in any of these languages, I would appreciate it so much if you'd teach me about them. I''m really willing to.

I'm near native speaker level where my English is concerned. Of course there is still a lot left to learn, no matter what! ^^ But as it is, I'm very fluent, so I'd have no problem with it if you'd like me to teach you or help you improve your English skills. I adore this language and I definititely​ don't mind helping out! Just let me know if I can be of service to you.

My language skills with German are certainly not fantastic, but I'm fluent in reading and listening. It's just the writing and talking part that leaves something to be desired. But if you need some help with grasping the basics of this language, I'm your girl. ^^

Well other than these languages above, I do speak my own native one: Dutch in this case; fluently of course. Dutch has many similarities​ with German and with English as they're both Germanic languages in origin. I love my  country's language, but it is very gutteral and for most foreigners it is very hard to pronounce or understand. I've also been told not many people really appreciate this language as much it seems, but I say it is under appreciated,​ haha. I'd be so honored if you decide you have an interest in my native language and I would certainly teach it to you or help you learn it in any way i can.

I don't really watch much television, so I don't really have anything that I would call my favorite tv show. Feel free to recommend some to me, though! ;)

If I watch 'television"​ I usually watch it online^^ Mostly we're talking about anime series here and K or J-drama's. I only recently got into watching drama series. the first one I watched was PGSM and right now I'm watching Goong S(a.k.a Palace Hour in English).

Some animes I like are: Saiunkoku Monogatari, Full Metal Alchemist, Scrapped Princess, Full Metal Panic( first and third season only), Chobits, Inuyasha, Full Moon Wo Sagashite.

Please don't ask me to name a favorite book, because I'm not sure. I really like to read books about Korea and Japan, manga, anything that interests me really. ^^
