I'm horrible at just talking/typi​ng about myself.  Well, I'm Clint, 26, and originally from Mississippi.​  I just moved to the Phoenix area and am looking for different ways to meet people and make friends.  I'm pretty shy, so sites like these are a helpful stepping stone for me.  I can be pretty serious/matu​re when I have to be, but I think that when I'm really being myself, I'm kind of a goofy geek.  :-)

I love to travel, but rarely get a chance to these days.  I like being outdoors walking, hiking, playing disc golf, exploring, etc.  I also like doing the usual indoor stuff like reading, playing games, watching movies, hanging out with friends, etc.  I was a Music major, so pretty much anything involving music is good in my book.

As I said, I'm a musician, and because I was classically trained, classical music is in my faves, but I also like pretty much anything else...rock,​ heavy metal, indie stuff, rap, etc.  Whatever suites the mood.  Some of my favorite bands are:  Godsmack, OOMPH, Fettes Brot, Cranberries,​ Tool, Alice in Chains, Muse, Keane, Death Cab for Cutie, Weezer...

I like tons of movies, so picking favorites is nearly impossible..​.but if I had to pick a few, I'd say:  What Dreams May Come; The "Bourne"​ movies; 40 Year Old Virgin; Kingdom of Heaven; The Princess Bride...to name a few.

I don't watch tv anymore cause I'm a poor college student and can't justify paying for cable.  So, shows I keep up with online are:  South Park, Family Guy, and Scrubs.  Some of my other faves are Friends, Dick Van ****, I Love Lucy, and others.

"Anthem"​ by Ayn Rand; "Frankenstein";​ "Pride and Prejudice";​ "The Idiot" by Dostoyevsky.​  I've found that the classic Russian novelists like Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky wrote some really interesting stuff that "War and Peace" and "Crime and Punishment"​ seem to overshadow at times.  I also liked the Harry Potter series; haven't gotten into the twilight series, but the Inheritance series that contains "Eragon"​, "Eldest"​ etc. has been fun to read...can't​ wait for the fourth book.  I also really enjoyed "The Hobbit"​ and the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy.
