Hello everyone!

My name is Cecillie, and I am an American/Danish girl who's living in Denmark. I'm originally from an Island in the Baltic Sea. It is rather small so not everyone knows where it is (well not everyone knows where Denmark is anyway).
My island, Bornholm is located in the Baltic Sea to the north of Poland and to the south of Sweden. Bornholm is actually closer to Sweden, than it is to Denmark… let me tell you a little about that:

The Swedes conquered the island in the year of 1645 under the Torstenssons war, but Bornholm was given back to Denmark later the same year. In 1658 Frederik the 3rd surrendered the island to the Swedes, but the inhabitants were not happy about that solution so they killed the Swedish commandant and decided to be Danish. 

I would like to visit countries such as China, India, Japan and Australia…well I would love to see the whole world, but I would be all wrinkly and old before I get all of the countries listed.

I work as a nanny in Northern Jutland. I love my job!

Names are one of my biggest interests, so if you know of a name, you think I haven’t heard of, please post it and tell me about the origin and so on.
