About Me:
I'm a language graduate who sadly doesn't get to use his languages as much as he'd like... :-(
I also wasn't meant to still be in England according to "The Plan" as set out by me when I was 16...by now I was supposed to be working in a cool job and buying croissants and fresh bread for breakfast while supplementing the shopping with a weekly trip down the market in France. Sadly I'm still in London doing a job that isn't what you'd call fascinating.

Requests:
I'd like to meet interesting people from all over...I don't really mind where you're from as long as you have something interesting to say. :-)
Obviously I'd love to keep up with my French and Spanish, and learn some more Polish along the way.
Oh and my Galician was never fantastic, so some more of that would also be cool!

Favorite Books:
Gargantua and Pantagruel
One of Us

Trubert - maybe one day I'll bump into someone else who's read that, but I doubt it. Obscure doesn't quite cover it (nonetheless fantastic!). ;-)

The food in S. Korea is way different, that's true. But I guess people can get used to everything. ;)
Half Polish? Well, that explains a lot.
How do you deal with Polish cz/ż/sz/ź/dź and so on? :> Good you like challenge, Polish sure is challenging. But if you're persistent enough, you'll learn it. And I think there's a lot of people who can help you with this language, me included (let's just hope my English skills won't fail or something).
Dasz radę, nie poddawaj się. ;)
Chinese is difficult because of their writing system and tones, I guess. But other than that... I heard the grammar isn't as hard as Korean. BUT Korean alphabet has only 40 letters. So it's quite balanced. ;) I only wish I could learn faster. It's frustrating...

Yeah, I know there isn't much logic in studying English in Spain but I really came here to practise my rusty Spanish ( which is waaaay better now ;)) Besides, the city is wonderful- lovely, small, lots of international students, fiesta 24/7 !
Yes, Santiago is great, I've been there some years ago and loved it! The cathedral that they have there is really impressive!! Whad did you like most about Spain?
Have you ever been to Kraków? And to any other Spanish cities, except for Santiago?

Hello there!
I don't mind. ;) Croatian is not 'very' challenging to a native Polish speaker, because these are both slavic languages, so there are a lot of similarities. I've chosen Croatian as my first major just after high school and now it's my third year.
I've chosen Korean (and started the major this year), because I simply love this language, korean culture and people. And I hope to live or at least study in Korea one day. :)
What about you? I saw in your profile you learn Polish. I'm always curious why people choose it. I heard it's the most difficult language in the world...
Take care!
