About Me:
Hello,
my name is Petra and I live in Prague, although I am Slovak.
I have been living in Czech republic about 5 years. I am a student and a teacher at the same time :-) How is this possible? You can ask me, if you like. ;-)
I have started to learn Spanish this summer and I really like it. :-)
I would like to write with somebody in English to practise and improve my knowledge.
I will write more personally maybe :-)

Pet,
How is it going? Are you back in Slovakia now? How are the studies going. What have you been up to these days?
Things have been fairly quiet here, just working, trying to save some money so I can go travelling, which I hope will be sooner rather than later.
Watched the Eurovision song contest and even as a Norwegian, I couldn't stand the winner, then again it's never about the songs in this contest. For me it's about the bad fashion, hairstyles and political voting, the contest can't be taken seriously.
Have a great weekend and hear from you soon.

hi and greetings from hungary:)
Ahoj,
How are you? How is uni going? My tennis trip to Melbourne was good and great to catch up with friends, fortunately I left before all the bad fires started. Huge loss of life and great environmental damage as well. They have now labelled the arsonists as mass murderers and fair enough as well.
Back at home now and can spend more time on here, though not sure if it's a good thing or not, hehe.
Take care and hope it's going well for you.

Greetings from another student+teacher, as well as a Philip Glass fan. Un abrazo. --M.
Ahoj,
So are you back at work? How was Blava? Well Norden is lucky that we don't have to get gas from the Russians, no surprise that Russia and Ukraine are having a dispute.
The food and wine festival wasn't too bad, I ate a goat hamburger with proper salad and it wasn't overpriced compared to the stuff, they normally have and that made a change. There were some alright looking ladies, but the beer and the women aren't as good as in Czechia or Slovakia.
The weekend one of my friends got married, it was very low key, but an enjoyable day, they had a celebrant and got married in these parklands near my house, plus there was plenty of free beer available and that's always a good thing. The couple are friends of mine and they looked good together, hope it works out for them. There was a drama, because the groom thought he lost his backpack, which had the wallet and credit cards, but it was a false alarm luckily. Nah, I won't be getting married anytime soon.
Tomorrow, I'm off on a holiday for a couple of weeks to Melbourne to watch some sporting events and hang out with some friends and make new ones. I need to get off the island, so I will still be reading the site now and then, anyway, time to get off and do some packing and other fun stuff like this.
