Hello everybody,
I'm a 16-year-old girl from Finland. I have studied English for 7 years, German 5 years and Swedish 3 years, so I'm not very good at any of them, as you see. But I'd like to get them all better, so it would be great to find here some international friends. :) So don't be afraid to contact me, if you're thinking you could try to understand me and my very bad English.

I read a lot of books, listen to music and... Well, those were my hobbies. Sometimes (very seldom) I play some role games on Internet. I like swimming and cycling, but I also really Love chocolate. And hanging out with my friends. :)
Favorite Music:
I listen a lot of different bands, but right now my favourites are Simple Plan and Iron Maiden.
Favorite Movies:
I don't really watch movies, but the best film ever is Titanic. :) It's so beautiful story.
Favorite Books:
Many... Harry Potters and other fantasy-books.

I'm pretty good thanks. I spent most of today studying for my Spanish exam, which is on Thursday. I go back on Thursday, and I have the test the first lesson back. It won't be fun...
How much work do you have to do by Wednesday? I have a Spanish test on Thursday, and a politics essay to write by next Monday.
I've seen the Twilight movie. I didn't like it that much, personally; it was just too different from the books.

My New Year's was fun, thanks. I went over my friend's house. We tried to watch Dark Night but kept getting distracted. Then we made a cheesecake, which amazingly didn't burn or blow up or anything diasterous. After that we spent the evening sitting in his garden watching fireworks until about 4:30 in the morning.

Your education system sounds very different to ours. I wouldn't want to study so many subjects (I was never good at maths and sciences!) Thanks for the explanation.

We call high school 'secondary school' or 'comprehensive school' over here.
Yep, the only subjects I have to study are the ones I mentioned. I'm in year 12, and in years 12 and 13, students get to choose between 3 and 5 subjects to study. Most people do 4. I'm glad, because I don't have to do maths any more.
