I'm all in favor of not being tied down. We are too young and brilliant for those sorts. Speaking of doing things alone, tonight treating myself to the orchestra (local uni next to my flat).

Those are all on my list as well! It would be cool to land a gig teaching in Russia.
Yes, I did twice from from 2012-14. You'll be surprised! Although you gotta be careful. I must warn you, there are a lot of liars and disingenuous people floating around on this site. Don't be fooled mind you. Don't go trusting your heart with strangers.

Although, I think you won't have as many problems as I will overseas because of your fair complexion. Me...well, we already know the sun has taken its toll xD

I had to convince my roomies to get a portable a/c coz our flat is like a bloody oven -.-
Ewww I remember I complained so much about the European heat. I was in a culture shock while in Paris because all of my beverages were at room temp. Wtf?! Sweating while drinking a warm drink. Cheers mate! Hahaha exploiting public air conditioned areas since 1992.

Everyone wants to live a big city :p
I'm like 35 minutes from LAX and it's still pricey in my location. Living by uni in a nice neighborhood- 1,100 USD for 1 bdr flat :(

I'm still apprehensive about doing things alone. I'm not used to at ALL. It freaks me in but in actuality we are alone until marriage and such. xD Where have you always wanted to visit besides US and Japan?

100% agreed. I've had many opportunities to travel abroad and stay with people I've met off of this site. It's an amazing places to meet people over the globe- but you already know this :p

Its funny because I don't even notice the racism as much, I just ignore it. I don't really care what people really think aboit me really :p kinda resilient to it all. Thanks a lot. Good to know you aren't racist ;p

Yuck! I remember when I lived in Central America and Belgium and there wasn't any a/c. It was awful!!! I hate humid summers. It makes me so angry! Especially when it dries put my hair. Typical girl complaints lol. Malls and cinema make a get rendezvous in summer, don't you think?

Very expensive. It like living in London- pricey because it's a popular city. However. So much to see though!

Same here! It's a bit frightening to think about right? But I've been considering travelling alone for some time. Unfortunately, not many of my friends are interested or can't afford to travel. Sooooo I'm on my own. Just a matter of making connections with the right people :)

Trust me, I feel so much better knowing. Although, I hear there's a lot of racism going on. Psssh it doesn't bother me that much because I'm a minority in my country as it is. However, hopefully my kindness will whisk people away lol

Isn't A/C such a precious commodity? xD

Yep, I know the feeling! Born and raised Californian. Buuuut I LOVE CALIFORNIA!! Just too Damn expensive here. :/

Apologies ahead of time for my grammatical errors- I'm on mobile.

This is a very wise thing to do! You're totally right, knowing someone is the key to comfort when going abroad. I feel more comfortable going to Korea because I know friends of friends who've taught there and claim that they loved it. Also, I've seen video blogs on it and it really helps. If you have a chance, look up Eat Your Kimchi on YouTube it's hilarious :D
I don't know how long I plan to stay...I guess we'll have to find out lol. However, I'm in love with how small the flats are! Just hope I get one with because I hear it's so hot in summer!! I wish you luck nonetheless :)

I always wanted to visit UK !!! I will indeed add you :)
Skype is such an amazing medium of communication ^^

I was also considering Hong Kong but the benefits aren't as good. I'm not really interested in China. There's another website called Teach Away Japan. Yes,flight is especially expensive! Good to know they are willing to pay for it. Worth it for sure! In my opinion S.Korea, you'll come home with money instead of breaking even. Either way if you're in Japan and I'm in Korea ...we could still meet on holiday! :)

Indeed, my timeline is the same because of all of the documents we have to get. (-.-) Ah, the same goes to you! I definitely feel much better as well :)))))

Maybe we can Skype someday and run through some ideas !!

That's so awesome! Japan is on my list but I'm leaning towards S. Korea mostly because they fund almost everything. Which program are you going through, maybe I should use the same one! Yes, I know....I don't think I'll make it to Asia at least until early to mid 2016 unfortunately. Good to know other English instructor it makes me feel better. I'm scared of being alone, must make friends right? :)

Hey there! I might see you there! I'm preparing my paper work to go to Asia myself to teach as well :) I guess I better start learning.
