About Me:

Have you ever played a song over and over because it pulled an emotion to the surface? Have you everlaughed at yourself for doing something completely ridiculous? Colored outside of the lines? Talked to a stranger on the bus? Bent down to pick up a penny?

If you really stop and think about it, our life on Earth is such a tiny piece of an infinitely big universe. What we do today will ultimately shape the possibilities of tomorrow. I enjoy the idea that our actions have meaning and that we are free-thinking and monumental .

Over the years I have grown to value creativity , self-expression, and simplicity. No day is complete without sitting beneath a tree, losing myself to a good book, or sharing conversation over coffee. I enjoy the way that thoughts come and go,  memories form and fade away, and birth begins where death once triumphantly stood.

I think it is important to remain connected in all that we do and to remember that we are part of that term we so freely throw around, mankind. I believe it is good to appreciate the flaws as much as the perfections we have in this life, and I am learning to grow, to spread my wings and fly. To be true to yourself is one of the most difficult journeys we will ever face during our lifetime, but you know, it's worth every step.

Language Exchange Requests:

Hiya, mate!  Thanks for stopping by my profile.  I am interested in finding someone who enjoys exchanging letters on a regular basis from outside of the United States (although people from the US are always welcome, too).  : ]

However, if writing letters doesn't interest you, we can exchange e-mails, too.  My only criteria is that you are open-minded and respectful of other people's opinions.

También, estoy aprendiendo español y me gustaría conocer nuevos amigos que pueden ayudarme con la lengua.  Si estás interesado, ¡dime un mensaje!

Oh i know a fair amount about the attachment in children, i did a project on it last year and still have the work that i did somewhere if you ever need any help with it.
I'm studying mental health nursing yes, currently working with patients with acute psychosis in the community and i'm finding it incredibly interesting. I'm finding it hard keeping up with my studies at the momen, but I guess it'll pay off in the end :)

Is this for a thesis or one of those major research papers? Sounds and interesting topic, but at the moment still very broad. It's really hard to focus and streamline a topic, so I understand the pressure you're feeling. But getting into a research topic one likes and is interested in does make all the difference, makes you really passionate about finding all the necessary information :) I've been good, since working on my TEFL modules and Saturday classes, that's basically it over here.

Oh I love Garbage!!! Lol. Exceptionally nerdy? How so? lol. I have my moments I suppose.
Yeah, it's hard keeping up with everyone, but I suppose the ones that actually have proper chemistry do keep it up in the longterm. What are you up to this evening?

Hey, i know it's been ages, i haven't been able to get access to the internet at all recently. I've had a rough start in my second year of university but we finally got the internet sorted out in our house, so it's all good :)

How are things with you?

Hey, your profile is pretty groovy too! So, hand written letters huh? Very retro! I love it! Thanks for the message on my wall...it was beginning to look a bit bare just there, but you have saved it from a mundane existence.

Your profile is cool. I love all the different sizes and whatnot! Very spiffy!

That's a cute combination :) Psychology units were my favorite clasess as well. It helps to be well rounded and grounded in both the sciences and arts. Well, I'd like to work in either Marketing, Advertising or Public Relations in the long run, but maybe after my TEFL certificate, I'd teach ESL/EFL to Germans, Norwegians or Koreans.

What's your major in uni? I've always wanted to be either a Comparative Lit major or a Film major. Apart from my dreams of taking up Criminology. I'm done with uni, with a Bachelors Degree in Communication Arts (Media & Marketing track) currently taking: a Diploma program in Professional Events Management and an online certificate program in Teaching English as a Foreign Language :)
