About Me:
I don't really know what to write, I'm not good at describing myself... Well, I'm 17 and I come from Austria and I love music and reading.
if you want to know more, just ask! :)
..i'm sorry, i guess you think that i'm a very boring person. but that isn't true! at the beginning, i might be shy, but later on, i come out of my shell :)
usually i'm a quite nice girl and you can have a lot of fun with me, i like laughing! but sometimes i'm a little bit philosophical.. i think that's the reason why i like profound conversations (even more long profound conversations) and everybody who's not like the mainstream :)

Requests:
I'd like to get to know people around my age from all over the world, I don't really care where you come from, just write me a message or leave a post on my wall!
and by the way, it would be great if you'd talk to me before you add me as a friend...

oh wow you only have to be 16 to stay out as late as you want? I think the rules for that kind of stuff is much more strict in america than it is in austria. I wonder if it is like that with most european countries..
Well I'm like you because I have no reason to stay out so late. There aren't a lot of places that are open anyway. And I don't think my friends are out past midnight either. What are some of the things you do with your friends at night?
Haha yes I'm sure a lot of people at 18 just sign documents to say that they are sick when they really aren't. I suppose it is their loss though, since they are missing out on their own education. Even if I am somewhat sick, I would prefer to still attend, so that I don't fall behind in my work.
Thanks for explaining the FPO to me, that was very interesting :)
So I guess they have more socialist ideas then, if people compare some of them with Hitler? Was Braunau affected very much in World War 2? I'm fairly interested in the history of that war...otherwise the only other kind of history I enjoy is medieval history, ancient Rome, and before that. Are you studying history in school right now?
Well the elections here in America went very smoothly, although I'm glad they are over. And unfortunately who I voted for did not win, but that's ok. How does austria's voting system work?
I'm not doing very well in learning German right now...it's so slow for me! but I think I might take a German course at my univeristy next year. Yes, hopefully we'll be able to speak with each other in german, but I think it won't be for a while :P
Hey, so I was listening to a song yesterday called 'One of Those Nights' by a band called The Cab. and I thought you might like it since I know you like paramore. The singing isn't too good :P but the music reminds me of paramore a little bit.
Well, i hope to hear from you soon ;) and sorry about the late reply. Take care Rita

And also don't worry about your English! It was fine last time, I could understand everything you said; you're english is very good already ;)

I know, you'd think the teacher would be exhausted from grading all those papers...well, I'm sure they actually are haha. And yes it is 24 pages, but at least they are for different classes...
Oh yes I had fun on my birthday. Yeah, I was allowed to go out before 18, but the state law here is that if you are under 18 you have to be home before midnight. Now that I'm 18 I don't have to...but of course I don't see any reason why I should be out that late anyway :P
What do you mean when you say you can sign documents at 18 in Austria? What kind of documents?
That's crazy your drinking age is also 16...haha our drinking age is 21. But of course, that allows for everything, no matter how much alcohol is in the drink. What is the age that people in austria can have guns though? Because here it is 18, and some of the guns that I can get at my age seem pretty dangerous for an 18 year old haha
What is the right wing party in austria? What kind of values do they have? I'm curious, because I've no idea if they are the same as the "left and right wing" parties here in America. Our elections just finished actually, and the person I was voting for did not win unfortunately. But I'm curious to see what God will do in America for the next president's term.
Oh no, I don't have to go to the Army. I just wanted to. There are so many young people in America that want to go to the military so there is no need to force them to go once they're 18. Although I don't know if I'll go to the Army or just a college military program called ROTC.
yes, I suppose if I went to austria I wouldn't have to learn german perfectly, but I definitely want to learn it well! At least I would get a minor degree in German, meaning I could speak it fluently enough. I wish you and I could talk in german actually, but unfortunately I just don't know enough :(
Haha yes I've no idea how firewalls work in the first place so that wouldn't work at all. I'll see if I can get skype to work sometime soon..

Hey ,nice to hear from you ;)
Oh, I'm sorry you got so much work! I don't have a lot right now, but I know that I will in a few weeks...for example, my teachers just assigned me 3 papers to write, and they each have to be about 8 pages long :P
Yeah, I did celebrate my birthday a little bit. My friends and I went out and had fun :D
Yes, I'm 18 now...here in America 18 is considered to be an "adult", and so I'm not a minor anymore haha. And yes I will be allowed to vote! In fact, I'm planning on going to vote tomorrow. Wow, you can vote at 16? That does seem a little bit young to me...I think a lot of people at that age will just vote for whatever their friends are voting for, not what they really believe in...
Oh, I bet you're excited to visit your University then? ;) I wonder if they will have somewhere that you can go to learn about computer science and computer majors :)
Since I am very interested in joining the Army a few years after I am in University, I'm really now looking into another career possibility. My parents were talking to me about getting an MBA in business. That way if I also get a minor in a foreign language, I can travel around...maybe even austria if I learn german ;)
Haha, believe me, I am not an expert at computers! But you think I should be able to handle ICQ then? haha...it's ok I like a little sarcasm too sometimes. It wasn't really that I couldn't figure out how to install ICQ, it was because my computer has a firewall or something that was blocking me from getting to the ICQ website. And I have no idea how to handle firewalls and security settings heh...
I hope you aren't stressful anymore :)....and I look forward to hearing from you soon

Dear RIta!
Thanks for your long letter, the case is that,I doN't remember yet that part,it seems that my post was too long to send the whole, but iT' wasn1t too long after.I spoke about that,I mostly fo with my parents, and dunno.I can'T see your ICQ,bbut I'd gladly send you photoes,I could send some from own made too.Just send me your ICQ in a Private Message.I also love taking photoes,so we're quite similar. In the last letter I had a typing misake, I wante to wrrite Basic or Pascal,so the name is not Basicor, simply Basic.By the way iT's really needless to know more languages, one language is even enough(for eg. C),and you can make harder and harder programs there. The understanding of working of computers seems to be a really interesting and nice thing,iT's really important in rogramming, and C is an ideal tool to learn this well.By the way I could recommend you the books of Peter Norton,h wrote some books about this topic, they are quite old,but except some parts they are still the same,so they're still righ for these new computers. Now I don't say anything else, just on ICQ,but it was just that I needed to tell you:PHope to see you soon.Bye!

Hello Rita!
I'm fine, thanks.I like long letters, however I don't have time to write them, because I'm almost always in hurry:).Well, actually I doN't like too much the museums, but some of them are interesting, the thers are not so good.I rather like walking in the cities, and to get everywhere on foot.I can walk a lot in a city, sometimes I do it for days.Yeah,I quite like living in Budapest,I think it's a beautiful city.I guess it's osbviously one of the nicest capitals in Centreal-Europe.I have some photoes from Budapest,I could send them by mail or on ICQ.By the way Budapest i not exactly like Vienna,it's a bit different.Budapest is mostly historical, and it has old buildings therefore.Unfortunatelly i don't do too much programmig, however I should.I doN't agree with this C and Java thing.C is absoloutly not a basical language,it's quite hard,as it's close to the computer's own world,so it's hard to understand therefore, the memory handling errors can be commited quite easyly. As for Java it's for a special goal,so iT's not really good to common things, the programs that you do.I guess Basicor Pascal are really good for begginers,I like C however, but iT's quite difficult. The closest programming language to the computer's world is assembly,by the way it works on the orders of CPU,so it's really basical level(on the computer's mind).Akthough we can't forget that, the anguage is just a tool in the hand of programmer, and we choose the most convenient tool for a given problem,so programming alnguages are not so important, good programs can be written anywhere, bbut also bad programs full of errors.WHo knows C well, they can write very good programs there, and C is good for almost all the problems,as it's a very low level language.By the way, yeah I'd like to be programmer, just as my father, but I have to learn a lot before. As for Ibiza, yeah you've already told me.I've been leraning spanish for 4 years in the school, and I was there this srping,so I could use my knowledge quite well.I d
