A 32 year old American in England, I am a very friendly person by nature and very down to earth. Honestly, one of the best things in life is meeting new people and becoming friends with them. I absolutely relish this and am genuine in my words and how I act towards others. I don't (ever) treat people with an aloof attitude, but rather a gregarious and openly friendly one.  The sooner a person feels comfortable -- the sooner we can have a good laugh together is how I look at things

Needless to say, I love a  good laugh and am usually the first person to try and make others laugh with some kind of subtle antic. I know I know -- men are so immature, but thats part of our charm!

As much of a playful spirit as I am, I am also someone very serious when it comes to things or people I care about.  As much as I love a good playful/flir​ty type of conversation​, I also love a good debate and have rather sharp teeth for it.

Sharing ideas, thoughts, insights, regardless of whether you agree or not always makes you a better human being. Trying to understand another person can give you a powerful bond and help you better understand yourself.  In that, what I am saying is I am also a listener and will always try to give the best advice I can. Whether its good advice or not... thats a different story all together.

Oh, did I mention I have a thing for cats too and that I am the (self proclaimed of course) funniest person on penpals? Geez, how could I forget that?

What am I looking for? Well, thats fairly simple: I am looking for genuine and honesty people. People who know how to laugh; people who want to share and learn about each other. Age and gender don't matter to me whatsoever -- everyone has something interesting about them so I don't really find the need to filter people for that reason.

However...

Please don't ask to add me if you just want to add me to am empty friends list or other such nonsense. I'm not just some kind of strange (quasi) trophy number for your list.

And please (now that I have had a couple) no marriage proposals or other such nonsense. I'm in no position, as an American living in another country, to sponsor anyone even if I wanted to.

I JUST started Japanese and find it interesting but very difficult to learn. The grammar is killer! However, regardless of what language you speak -- if someone needs a bit of help with their English don't be afraid to ask!

American Football, Baseball, MMA, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Hiking, politics, paintball, laughing, movies, manga, video games (I'm nerdy at times, I know - get off my back!),  cloud watching -- one might say I'm a professional​ at it.

Just about anything -- country being at the (very) low end of the spectrum. To be honest, theres probably like only 4 country songs I like in the world.
