About Me:
I'm a Southern California (San Diego) replant that hasn't really got used to living in the Mid West and miss 'back home' and the beach (and the WARMTH). I used to be an avid surfer/shaper and big into everything outdoors including skiing, mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, off road dirt biking, & caving/spelunking.
Requests:
Interested in corresponding with people and making some new friends along the way.
Interests, Hobbies, etc.:
Art, music, reading, writing and motorcycles are some of my most basic interests.
Favorite Music:
An eclectic mix of nearly everything except hard core Rap and County/Wester. My favorite artist is Peter Gabriel.
Favorite Movies:
My favorite movies tend to be the obsure ones that have a "Black Humor" edge to them. Harold and Maude, certain Monty Python movies, The Fisher King, The Waterdance, and of course my all time favorite, Dogma.
Other more 'normal' movies that I've always loved watching:
The Ten Commandents, Antoine Fischer and pretty much all 60's B movies.

Favorite TV Shows:
House and Greys Anatomy are my current favorites
Favorite Books:
I read most anything but here's some of my favorite authors; Dean Koontz, Patrica Cornwell, Robin Cook, Tom Clancy, Douglas Preston/Lincoln Childs, Tom Wolfe, Michael Crichton and Ken Follet.
Favorite Quotes:
Try not to become a man of success but rather to become a man of value. - Albert Einstein
Like "The silence of a fly in amber, of a fossil hidden in the heart of stone", that fateful day in May was the last joy my heart ever felt and when my universe collapsed in upon itself forever.

I did view your painting....saw one of your friends had an idea for a name....I'm with you it is hard to name that one. On the one hand it seems peacefull yet at the same time gloomy. I felt it looked as if one were looking out a window .
Alright I was of no use on that one for you...maybe the next.
How are things going now ?

I'm really sorry that I missed your comment but this is the first time in weeks that I've logged on to Interpals.. Thanks for the contact.. Yes, I really like Patrica Cornwell but I just finished a book called Deep Storm by Lincoln Childs that was really good.. You give him (and his co-author Preston Douglas a try).. If you like The Fischer King, then watch The Theory of Flight with Helena Bonham Carter and Kenneth Branagh.. It was hilarious!!
Hope to hear from you again but pardon the delay in getting back with you. Take care.

I have to say that the Fisher King is a great film, which I would love to see again. I also see you like Patrica Cornwell books, so this being the case then there are a few English Crime writers you might like, see my list.
Anyway, nice profile
Take Care
