About Me:

Hello, I'm Ron from Luxembourg, a tiny country in the middle of Europe.
I'd like to know new people from all over the world to learn about their culture and countries.
But of course also to make new friends and have fun with them.

I like photography very much and want to become a photojournalist,  because I'm very interested in the social circumstances people live.

At the moment I'm taking pictures on a film set in my country. It is about two Luxembourgish forced recruits who decide to lay down arms in WWII.

Requests:

I'm still interested in Russia and Russian people, but at the moment I don't have much time to learn it further. But I'd like if people from there want to correspond or anyone who has the same interests as me.

PS: Please don't add me as a friend before we even have spoken a word with each other. I don't accept such requests. That doesn't mean that I won't add you afterwards, if I like you in our conversations.

You know, l am also quite confused about global warming,,Was there a time when l was quite convinced that its a people's fault, but some time ago l found an article where was written that what we do now don't really affect earth's weather stabilisation, l'm really stuck at it.

You reminded me an documentary when you mentioned US and stuff- Jesus Camp- have you seen it? l ts really scary :S
you can watch all the doc. on youtube

Yeah, l know. There are several things what are really still much cheaper than in western countries, like exactly food. From my counting  lt can be even five times less expensive than in UK ( maybe its so bad also because Pound is stronger than Euro, one Pound it's something around 6 polish złotych, while Euro 'just' four)  To give one comparison, a bread costs here usually 1,5 pound, when in Poland 1,5- 2 zł... Wasnt really easy to accustom at the beggining, l was counting almost each thing, and still grumbling that  everything is that terryfy expensive..

l am pretty aware that its more than just about being located in Europe. But you know, l dont really enjoy to follow politicis, trying to be well versed in, but it's usually so sad, twisted and  irritating. Like yesterday, when l was reading about new, obligatory from last autumn, school books in Russia.
Now young people there will learn that Józef Wissarionowicz Stalin  was a 'great and effective  menager',  Huge terror in 30 years  in ZSRR was  used by Stalin 'rational tool to develop country' and the Katyń Massacre  it  was nothing different than a 'fair retaliation for killing houndrets  Red Army soldiers, taken to captivity after started by Poland in 1920 war.  Brrrr....

You know, it's really complicated. l l'm quite convinced thet we simply had to become a part of EU,just  to survive..And there is really many advantages, like the end of the monopolism of some polish corporations, (belive me it can be really nasty when one corporation has monopol for all the country, like telephony-company for example  had  the prices of internet b&telephon were just incredible)
The end of  visas- open borders, many posibilities, and it made many things easier- also to study abroad :))
Many foreign firm invest now there, or create a branchs..
But for poorer people EU made life much harder, for instance  the prices of the food rised almost twice last two years..lts a problematic question.
But we don't have Euro currency yet, we plan to have in 2012.

Apologises accepted:D

Sorry,l'm just a historic nerd, especially when coming to events  l'm iterested in.

lf still about this unfortunate signs (l have more pics) Strange but thought l'm a patriot,l think that l would react much stronger if it would be against Jews or somebody else...As a Pole, l simply don't bother myself by stuff like this, l have really nothing against Polish people to go home.Poland has now really a big problems with this emigration,it's not only about  quailified  or not qualified workers, lots of educated, inteligent  people left.
