About Me:

Hi! I enjoy reading, cooking, music, languages and cultures, writing, recieving mail, camping, crafts, hiking, walking, and making new friends. I am a social worker who has just graduated from the university with a minor in sociology, actually about 9 credits short of a bachelor of sociology; then I could say I have two bachelor degrees! I am fun loving, easy going, and a person who loves to see the best in people. I love to talk but more importantly love to listen better. I do enjoy listening to people and learning about who they are and where they are going in this little old world which is getting smaller by the year. This would be perfect because I would learn about you and you would learn about me. I am a gal that just wants to have fun and learn something along the journey of this life. This life would be nothing without friends in it!

Requests:

I would love to find a pen pal that would share similiar interests and maybe not so similiar interests. I can get along with a rattle snake. Wanna try me out and see how well I do with one? I will talk with anybody that wants to talk. I just love penpaling snail mail or email. I am an anglophile, bibliophile, and Spanish is just about my second language in which I am so proud of myself for learning. I can talk comparative religion from Wicca, Paganism, to Christianity. I am dying to get to know you all especially the true from Brittian would be nice! I would also chat with the sub and counter cultures of America and other places around the world. I just love people.

Hi, Rowane!

I'd enjoy hearing more about your musical adventures.  I, too, am a musician (dulcimer, et cetera).

Bye!  Becky_Blue

Thanks for your Socratic compliments, Rowane.  Impressive that you were able to read through all of Shakespeare . . . am a little surprised that MacBeth and Othello are your favs . . . it's just plain hard to pick only two when he wrote so many good plays.  You might like John Webster's the Duchess of Malfi . . . Webster was also a Jacobean playwright, wrote some very intense stuff in the same vein as your two favs.
