Hello! Welcome to my world!
If I had to describe myself in a few words I'd say that I am: Talkative, reliable, open-minded, a perfectionist, emotional, curious, tough, sometimes sweet, stubborn, shy, I have my own strange sense of humour, and everything in between. Sometimes I feel like the 'bitch' from that song by Meredith Brooks.
I'm not the regular girl-next-door. I can't really be alone for long, but don't need people around 24 hours a day because that would definitely drive me insane. I can be a real bitch now and then. I really don't understand myself completely, but I write letters and blogs to get to know myself a lot better. Books, writing, music and daydreams are the loves of my life at the moment. Prince Charming didn't find me yet, or maybe I missed him because I was too busy reading a book or listening to my iPod while I was passing by. I never leave my house without my cell phone, music, a book or magazine and pen and paper in my bag. It's a miracle that I am still alive with my habit to do anything while walking the streets.
Let's go back to the real facts. I'm a 4th year college student at the school for communication management in Utrecht. I really want to become a writer and somehow I think I should have picked something else to study instead of communications. But before I will do anything else I will finish my current studies. From September '08 to January '09 I will take some classes of journalism.
I live in my own apartment in Utrecht. I’m a single girl and not really looking for a new boyfriend at the moment. I will let him find me instead of looking for him. Maybe I will just bump in to him on the street some day. So it’s just me and my rabbit Johnny now. And hopefully we’ll get some cat-company someday, cause I love cats! Anyways, I have a lot of people around me, but somehow not the kind of friend I'd love to have. You know, the one you can share everything with. Writing has always been easier to me than talking!
Little things that make me smile: the beach, blue skies, spring (cute baby-animals, the smell of spring rain, flowers), paintings by Jack Vettriano, sunsets, ice cream, a beautiful moon in the skies. I can be as happy as a child sometimes.

Interests, Hobbies, etc.:
I'm a dreamer... I have a strong imagination and love to create my own fantasy world inside my head, my daydreams, to hold on to life when it doesn't seem to go as I want it to. I can't live without music, I always carry my iPod with me wherever I go. Things I love are reading (books, magazines, letters), writing (long letters, my blog, anything!), dancing (ballroom and latin, but also just at the club), shopping, spending time with friends, watching movies / series, theatre and musicals, travelling.
Some things I dislike are: liars, perverts, rainy days, olives, getting up too early, uncomfortable silences.
