About Me:
Hello Everybody!
I'm just looking to meet new people from different countries. I like to Email and message and write letters so I thought doing so with people from around the world would be a fun and insightful experience, as well as a great way to learn about different customs and cultures. I admire people who can speak more than one language and although I only speak English currently, one of my goals is to learn another language eventually. I'm particularly interested in Russian but I welcome correspondence from anyone! Someday I hope to travel a lot so the more countries I can learn about, the better!
I lived in England for about 2 years when I was younger and loved it! Ever since then I've wanted to live in a foreign country again - it's such an amazing experience and sometimes I feel as if I'd 'fit in' better overseas than I do here. I've moved a lot within the USA too.
Some other random facts about me: I don't smoke or drink, people mistake me for being 12-15 because I'm short and look young (it can be funny at times, but really annoying too), I started playing the violin when I was 5, and I'm a 'nightowl' - if I had it my way, I'd work/party all night and sleep all day. Unfortunately, the rest of the world doesn't seem to work on that schedule so I make do conforming the best I can but on the weekends, I'll be up all night hopefully writing to some new friends I meet here!

Requests:
I'm particularly interested in meeting people from Russia and Eastern Europe as I've always been fascinated by this part of the world, but I'd be thrilled to make new friends, regardless of where you're from! I like messaging and Email, but also enjoy writing letters too, so it's up to you!
Interests, Hobbies, etc.:
Aviation (Helicopter Flight School Student)
Dance

Favorite Music:
EDM (Electronic Dance Music) in all of its various forms and genres, trance in particular. But techno, electro, house, drum and bass, hardstlye, etc. are all awesome too! I love the stuff! Unfortunately it's not very popular at all here in the states which is very frustrating. This is yet another reason why I look forward to meeting new people from around the world. I'm very curious about what you listen to and enjoy in your country. In my opinion, the music industry here in the USA is kind of stuck in a downward tailspin churning out the same typical drivel while Europe and the rest of the world are busy cranking out the hottest 'chunes' ripping across the dancefloors of the world. But here all you get is country/rap/pop/rock on the radio. Nothing wrong with that, but it gets old after a while. Most of the world's best Trance/Dance DJs are from outside the USA and most of what I listen to is from the UK and Europe.
Favorite Movies:
I watch a lot of them. None really come to mind as being a definate favorite though. I'm more interested in music.
Favorite TV Shows:
I don't own or watch TV. I prefer using my time in other pursuits. Nothing on TV really interests me anyways, except for perhaps the occasional documentary.
Favorite Books:
Unfortunately I don't read as much as I use too but when I do I enjoy a good thriller. Most of my reading these days consists of non-fiction periodicals and manuals related to my current effort of learning to fly helicopters.
Favorite Quotes:
I can't really think of any at the moment. Perhaps someone can share one with me from their country. I find quotes, sayings and tidbits of wisdom from other countries particularly interesting as they are often a very insightful and sometimes humorous snapshot of a culture.

I understand you. I also donot drink alcohol. Each time when I meet with my friends, I have to argue with them, drink orange juice (which I like a lot) and keep my way. All my friends are heavy drinkers. I have thought about changing them, but where I will find nondrinker friends here ? :-))
You are lucky. You are back to school. I am still on vacations. I donot like vacations, during them I feel boring.

Hi, sorry, I wasn't on the computer over Christmas. :)
The concertina just has buttons , so it only plays melody. I can play by ear and read notes, but i learn better by listening. I've not got a great memory though so i need the notes later to practise and perfect the tunes :)
I like the panpipes, but when you start, they make you really dizzy, like on the flute XD
When I started learning the flute, I used to nearly black out when i played. I was like, under ten then though so it doesnt bother me anymore :)
